- i've used safeway and walmart brands and they work great.
- I use Pampers, but I used cheaper ones that I got at my baby showers and they were ok. I got some Luvs which weren't bad, I just prefer to use Pampers.
- In my experience the cheaper ones work just as well. I particuarly like Luvs, but my friends all swear by the Kroger brand. Unfortunately all my kids were allergic to anything but Pampers, but if your kids aren't, then use the cheaper brands.
- You know you might find that the cheapest diapers work just as well as the big brand. Some times as with anything you buy, you are paying extra for a name.
- My baby peed like a horse! And LUVS were the only ones He used that didn't leak. Also, the TARGET brand diapers are really good too. And both are very resonably priced.
- My brother used 'wet bottoms'. They are SUPER cheap & they seemed to like them : )
- stick with those. i've had two younger brothers and changed both their diapers. my mom wanted to get cheaper ones. she tried and everything just leaked out. it was a mess. TRUST ME.
- ok-thru both my kids, pampers or huggies worked. The cheaper ones even tho cheaper dollar value, leak or rip at the sides or don't hold the moisture so you are ending up wasting about 3 diapers a day-at least that's what it was for me and so we were ending up buying more. With pampers and huggies they last longer, no-names you go thru more and are more wasteful of $$$
- Pampers only. My children always broke out with the other brands. Don't forget, if you buy the cheaper ones, you'll still spend the same amount because you'll be changing your child more often due to leaks.
- i always buy luvs they work just as well as any other and a lot cheaper at wal-mart you can get a big box for 15.00 compare 2 huggies 25.00 try them they r good
- i have found that LUVS leak very bad. there are gaps between the baby and the diaper letting them leak. i use huggies diapers and Pampers pull ups i have a 18 month old and a 2 year old.
- Personally I believe in you get what you pay for. We use Pampers. They seem to work pretty well. Huggies tend to give him a rash. But every baby is different. Your baby may react to a cheaper diaper. I say if you are going to try and cut back on the cost of them....joing like a costco or BJs or something. Please dont use cheapy diapers. Think of your baby's tooshie!! =)
- My daughter started out w/ Pampers in the hospital and I have just used those ever since - I've had really good luck w. them!
- i would swear by pampers. when my baby was 2 months or so i used target brand, they are excellent. but somehow i was shifting btw pampers and target brand and suddenly my baby wont wear anything other than pampers now..so im stuck with em... if u want to try the other brands stick to one before ur baby gets choosy..
- I have tried safeway brand and they were ok, Luvs leaked, but Pampers is the best for me personally, I feel you get your moneys worth bc they are really absorbent and you don't change as many wet diapers as you would if you used a cheaper kind.
- I like Pampers, although sometimes I used Safeway. The national supermarket brands are very usable. It's the brands you've never heard of at the discount shops which don't work.
- I haven't found a brand of "cheaper" diapers that I have likes. When huggies or pampers are on sale at the store, I stock up. I also get a lot of cupons for them, so essentially I'm not paying much more for them.
- I use to use the generic brand. With my first born I never had one problem and I saved some money that way. I noticed with my 2nd I do have a problem so I buy LUVS cheaper and plus they have the leak guarantee!
- I have found that there is a really big gap when it comes to quality between huggies, pampers and the cheaper brands. It is true that they leak too fast but they also, sometimes start to fall apart and you might find chunks of the absorbent gel on baby's bum. Also that little elasticated bit that goes around the upper thigh usually isn't tight enough to hold the pee-pee & pooh-pooh in before the gel absorbs it. All the best
- I used disposables for a year and a half, and I wouldn't go back. They're disgusting. Cloth doesn't leak, smells better, you never run out and they're way cuter. Not to mention how cheap they are! It takes a few weeks to get the hang of it, but then it's easy!
- I tried the Walmart brand once which was cheaper but my daughter started having diaper rash so i stick to pampers which i find softer than huggies.
- LUVS arecheap and they don't leak wiht huggie i ad more leakage, espeacially sicne i have a boy and you know it can just shoot out of the top if the diaper is just a little lose. pampers are good but they are expensive. i use loves now when iw ant to save a little. my son is 11 1/2 weeks old I think it all depedends on the baby really and how they are built. try to find what fits best for you little one. like i said a lot of people lik huggies but they leak every time my son pees AND to teh one who said you'll be spending the same on diaper because you'll change them more from leaks. you should change your child diaper every time it's dirty, not let it pile up. i mean dont get me wrong, sometimes you can't change it but you cna't expect it not to leak when your child is ina peep filled diaper, that's not fair
- I use Target brand. They are just as good as the Huggies and a whole lot cheaper. Target usually always has a diaper sale running and sometimes the Huggies are cheaper so just check the ads.
- depends on the butt wearing the diapers. The only diaper that works on my son is pampers...everything else leaks. But i know people who use off brands or huggies and have no problem.
- I love pampers swaddlers. I tried Huggies and she leaked through in about 5 minutes! I vowed to stick with what works the best regardless of the cost. In the long run it would cost more in buying new clothes that she would eventually poop through!
- It really just depends on you and your baby. What works for yall might not work for other. Im a big fan of LUVS for my kids. My daughter used LUVS for 1.5 years before she potty trained and my son has been in them for almost a year. I know alot of people that use Walmart brand diapers but I personally dont care for them. I did use Target brand diapers and they are okay.. I just like LUVS better so thats what we buy. No one can really say which diapers will leak for your baby. All diapers are cut differently and all babies are shaped differently. When you find which diaper matches up with your baby.. thats the one you'll use.
- Wal-mart brand works great - as good as Huggies. And they're about $4 cheaper too!!! That's all we use.
- I liked pampers and the walmart brand.
- I have used Pampers Baby Dry, Swaddlers, Cruisers, Huggies, Huggies Natural Care, White Cloud, Target, Kmart's Little Ones, and Kmarts Supremes. They all worked at diffent times. My favorite store brand are Kmart's Little Ones. They are made by the same company as White cloud and Targets but they have less material around the legs. So they seem to fit a little better. You just need to try diffent ones. Most store brands are the same. They just have diffent patterns on the velcro. Luvs and Baby Dry were exactly the same except for the character on them till Baby Dry got more elastic in the tabs. But Luvs are cheaper. I hate the fragrance in both. Which is why I like the unscented store brands. And remember that a diaper that works great at one time may not later.
- Kmarts diapers that the store makes are pretty cheap and they work well the parents choice work well too. These work as long as your baby doesnt have alot of poop at once or runny. Good luck I dont blame you for wanting to save money I buy both the cheap ones and pampers. I use the cheap ones after my baby has gone to poop and then use the cheap ones. You can use the more expensive one at night too.
- Take SOULCAGED advice, he's still wearing diapers. The problem though he only changes his once a week!
- I'm incontinent and I wear cloth diapers all the time. I suggest the same for your baby. They are more comfortable, they are softer and they breathe where disposables don't and that means fewer to no more diaper rashes for the baby. The have a higher initial cost but over time become cheaper than disposables even including the laundry expenses. It only takes about two loads a week depending on how many diapers you have on hand. You might even get by with one load a week. Considering mine are much larger than baby diapers, I do two loads each week. The cloth diapers really are the best Good luck.
