Diapers Q&A

cloth diapers?

i have stared using cloth diapers for my son. does anyone know where you can find them cheaper?? also i have a daycare and i thought maybe asking the parents to see if they wanted me to use the cloth diapers on thier kids, so they wouldn't have to buy diapers for daycare, but they would have to pay a one time fee to help pay for washing them, or buying new ones when the time comes. would you pay for you child to wear cloth diapers??

  1. i would be happy to do this...providing it was a reasonable cost.
  2. The cheapest, best quality cloth diapers are always online! Look for sites that are discontinuing a brand and have them on clearance pricing, or look for sites that offer volume discounts. It would be great for a daycare to offer cloth diapers. I personally would like to just provide my own cloth diapers, but some people would probably like for you to do the laundry! Make sure that you choose an appropriate detergent and you rinse the diapers well so that you are not causing diaper rash instead of preventing it! This chart is excellent for helping choose detergents: http://www.pinstripesandpolkadots.com/detergentchoices.htm We use Country Save with excellent results. Also, make sure you aren't using bleach and fabric softeners on the diapers.
