g diapers...what do you think?
I finally decided to go with g diapers. I wanted to know from other mommies what their experience has been with them. Do you like them? Are they a pain? Do they work well? Blow out diapers? I was using Pampers Swaddlers, but now that my baby is in a size 3 he can't wear them (they don't make them after a size 2). I tried the better for the environment diapers at Target (I forget the brand) and I didn't like them at all. I was going to get Seventh Generation diapers, but I decided g diapers sounded WAY better. Hopefully I made the right choice! Thanks in the advance for the info!!

- There is a review at this site; http://pregnancy.about.com/od/babyproducts/fr/gdiapers.htm
- I use gdiapers as my main diaper at home and the Nature BabyCare brand from Target at night and when out and about. I LOVE both. I use the Nature BabyCare at night b/c the g's always seemed to leak for me...not sure why. I do belong to 2 yahoo gdiaper support groups, you should join, even just to ask questions. Everyone is very helpful there. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/gDiapers/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/gdiaperhelp/ I use the old style g's. Some I bought used from online acquaintances, eBay, etc and some I bought new from my local natural foods store. I've never tried the new style g's, so I can't give an opinion on them. Supposedly, they are supposed to fit more like real underwear and fit a broader range of babies. http://www.gdiapers.com/ Also, about that review...the liner is not plastic, everything is completely breathable. Plastic is not. EDIT: Before finding Gdiapers and Nature BabyCare, I used Pampers Swaddlers, Walmarts store brand (Parents Choice I think???) once I used Luvs...I HATED the Luvs. I can't remember which brand I used when dd had her "blow out" diaper, but talk about a mess! She has leaked poopy diapers on occasion with the Walmart brand. Since switching to Nature BabyCare she hasn't had a leak, either wet or poopy. When I was still getting used to the Gdiapers, I had a few messes to clean. But now, we're on track... no messes for quite sometime. =D
- We always used Pampers baby dry. They worked well for us.
