Do you think it's foolish to spend $400.00 on a Coach diaper bag?
That is what this girl I work with did she tries to be glamorous.

- No, I use designer handbags and dont plan on changing that when I have a child
- Geez, that's ridiculous. Buy one for like 5 bucks from Wal-Mart.
- Yes it is. Epic Fail.
- yes it is foolish. I work with a girl who's the same way. She's only 17. She's in for a rude awakening when real life hits her and mommy and daddy don't buy her stuff for her anymore.
- REALLY dumb. She should be putting that cash into her kid's college fund. Even if she is rich, it just doesn't make sense.
- If you have the money to spoil yourself, sure! If you don't, I would second guess that line of decision making.
- Yes that is just stupid, then again I spend 100+ on Jordans, so go figure
- Not at all if you have millions....very foolish otherwise
- i think so because really how many years will she be using a dipper bag? 1-2 years a child!
- I would feel guilty carrying around a rediculously expensive bag, when I could support a family in Africa for over a year for that amount. (I currently sponsor a family for $30 a month). And for some poor families here in America, that is an entire month's paycheck. So for those of you who can carry and feel great about it, great. I won't judge you. But personally, it would be a very heavy weight for me to carry around. There are good quality, durable and good looking diaper bags (and just bags in general) out there that are priced for their quality, not because they have a logo on it. I would go for one of those.
- I wouldn't spend that much on a diaper bag. But if someone is working, making their own money, and buying designer items is what they enjoy, than that's their own business, I wouldn't really think much of it. My friend has a Coach bag for her daughter, I never thought anything bad about it, but when my fiancé saw it, he was surprised lol.
- that a lot of money she bloody mad,,, i could put that money towards something better plus on a lot more things.....
- Honestly, yes yes I do! Diaper bags get all of the mess in my family so I cannot image in spending $400 for something that my kids could destroy in 2 minutes. Nor could I imagine putting those inevitable soiled clothes in there or worrying about spilling pumped breastmilk. I suppose if it is for short little outings this may be ok but I find it highly impractical... not to mention that I have found those bags to be too small to tout around the kind of stuff I need to. My sister had one of these and ended up having to use space in my bag sometimes!
- personally I think its stupid..but hey its her money so why are you worried about it?? Not everyone feels they need to be practical..they also do not realize that more expensive does not mean better quality!!!
