Diapers Q&A

What can I use in the 'wet' storage method of cloth diapers?

My 17 month old daughter can tell me when she has to poop and when she has pooped. Today was her second time going poop on the potty. I am starting to use cloth diapers on her to try to get her to feel wet, but just started today and it's been fun LOL. I am curious what I can use (like baking soda?) in the 'wet' method of storing the diapers until they get washed, to keep out the smell. I know there is a dry method but I'm not really interested in using that method.

  1. Well, I use the dry pail method but I know that you can use baking soda. You can get some info here: http://www.diaperpin.com . They have lots of info for those new to cloth, including wet pail/dry pail methods, and what to do about stinkies. :-) You might get more answers if you ask this in the newborn and baby section.
