Cloth diapers?
I'm going to start my 4 month old on cloth diapers. I like all natural and organic. Does anyone know the best type to buy. I have searched the net and have found all-in-one diapers and pocket diapers. I was wanting to buy the best. Thank you.

- I went to a website and ordered a sample pack to see which type I really like. I haven't gotten mine in yet, so we will see. Just remember to wash them a few times to strip them first. I used Babyworks.com but almost any cloth diaper wewbsite has sample packs.
- You definately want to go with Tiny Tush. They are adjustable from birth to 35 pounds so you end up saving a ton of money. Tiny tush makes organic diapers as well as diapers with an outer shell. I have used both versions and both work wonderfully for my kids.... they never got diaper rash and the diapers stood up to my twins, my son and are going to be used for my baby soon to be born.
- Most pockets and AIOs have a microfleece stay-dry layer next to baby's skin, and microfleece is polyester, so if you're wanting all natural and organic make sure the diapers you choose don't have it. You can ask around on http://www.diaperswappers.com and http://www.diapertraders.com to see what other people's favorite organic dipes are. None of mine qualify. :-) Except, maybe Kissaluvs makes organic, but I'm not sure. I really like those because my baby has a pot belly and KLs are designed to fasten under the belly, bikini style, so they fit my fat boy better than most diapers. But again, I'm not sure if they have organic. I do know they have unbleached cotton dipes, though. Well, I hope you find what you want! :-)
- I would NOT buy a bunch of one kind off of one person's recommendation! Every child is different & what works for one doesn't always work for all. I'd suggest buying a few different types/brands and you'll eventually find your system. They are both great forums with lots of mommies (and daddies) who can give great recommendations. We love pockets, prefolds, and flats at our house. There are several mainstream pockets that we tried and hated.
