Another baby?
I'm having my 4th child in November and have decided to use glass bottles and cloth diapers. Although there are many on the market I'm affraid that some cloth diapers may not be safe to use.Either due to where they are made or the dye they use. Also I've never used glass bottles before and am looking for ones that have organic nipples. It is very important to us that we use all organic materials for this baby. If you have any good answers as to where I can find the safest and most reliable bottles and cloth diapers please help!

- Cloth diapers are extremely hard to use. I bought the gerber four ply diapers and he soaked right through them. Hopefully you will have more success than I did.
- Why even bother with cloth diapers, especially since the first 3 didn't use them? Sounds like a big old smelly mess to me.
- good luck with the cloth diapers! i would suggest investing in a diaper service- they come and pick up your used cloth diapers and bring you brand new clean ones! good luck on finding glass bottles, though, they are difficult to find. if you are trying to use all organic materials, why don't you breastfeed? i think that is about as organic as it gets, girl! **
- I got all my cloth diapers at www.greenmountaindiapers.com. I know a lot of women who use them and they seem to be perfectly safe, as they are 100% cotton and some are even organic. None of them are dyed, and the ones that are "bleached" cotton were bleached with a safe process, not with chlorine bleach. You need to use a special detergent on your diapers to keep all the chemicals in normal detergent off of baby's delicate skin - I use Charlie's Soap (there is a link on that diaper website). I don't know about glass bottles or organic nipples. I am breastfeeding exclusively and have only given a pumped bottle once or twice. The bottles I own are Medela brand, which are plastic but BPA free. Email me if you have any questions about cloth diapering. Good luck, and good job on going the extra mile for your baby's health.
- They are all safe. Organic is worse; it uses more resources to make and costs more. If you want to waste your money, then its your call
