What is so wrong with diapers?

This question is too make a point! i don't see diapers/nappies as baby underwear, i see them as disposable underwear, e.g. pull-ups if you kid wears pull-ups then they can use the toilet, but if they have an accident then that is OK. so if my 6 year old says she wants to wear nappies then that is fine.

2. nothing... for babies. 6 year olds have grown up and can wear underwear or go commando. talk to the kid to learn why she is regressing and see a pediatrician to rule out a medical cause.
3. no way,your 6 year old should not be allowed to wear nappies,that is ridiculous,this would be embarrasing for her,encourage her not to wear them for her own sake,other kids can be very cruel with their comments
4. No offense, but Huggies or Johnson & Johnson shouldnt be making diapers big enough for 6 year olds. After you get a certain age, 3 or 4, the next time you should be wearing diaper-like undies should be labeled Depends.
5. The real question is why she wants to wear them. Does she use the toilet? Is there a younger sibling who is in diapers? If she truly has a problem with accidents then a doctor should be involved. If not she is probably trying to get attention for some reason. If you do let her wear them make sure she knows she's to use the toilet. You don't want to make it hard on you or her. At six the toilet shouldn't be an issue. Accidents help the child to pay attention to there bladders and to know when they have to go. I hope this helps to change your point.

8. I just want to know why people think it's so morally wrong for someone to wear diapers past a certain age. I, myself, around 16, I had this real bad accident at a go-kart track and injured the nerves so now I have to have one on or I would just go without knowing. It's nothing wrong with it, it's just a different type of underwear. It's no different then wearing boxers or briefs, and it actually covers you more than boxers/briefs do. So, do you think I'm a freak or weird just because I have to wear them? To tell the truth, you all are the freaks if you think it's UNMORAL and sick to wear diapers past the age of 3-4. Also, those Depends, from experience suck like hell, I've got to order better diapers online just because retail stores don't seem to care that there are people who need more absorbant products then Depends. So, I have to ask you, why the hell would you even care what someone else wears under their clothes?
