Bum Genius on little babies?
We recently found out we are expecting again and since I've started using cloth on my 8 month old and already decided I really like the bum genius one size diapers, I was thinking of just getting more of those and use them for both babies. First, how many do you think I will need (my eight month old only has 3 one size diapers- the rest are other pockets and prefolds) and also, how do the bum genius one size diapers really work on the tiny ones? My first daughter was 8 lbs 4 oz, so I am not expecting a really teensy baby this time either..but will they be too bulky? any experience? Thank You!!

- In my experience, none of the one-size diapers really fit newborns very well. Both my boys were over 8 lbs at birth, and they still swallowed them whole for a few weeks. My favorites for newborns are Kissaluvs fitted diapers. Their size 0 has the snap for the umbilical cord, and something about the fabric seems to hold in the explosive newborn poop better than fleece. And the elastic is snug enough to contain without binding their legs. My younger son has never worn a disposable diaper, and he's 15 months old today!
