Diapers Q&A

Any parents out there willing to go diaper free?

I just happened across this story today on yahoo. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/diaper_free_babies It makes environmental sense. But it doesn't seem that practical. What do you think?

  1. I don't know. It is new to me. my daughter is six now. We used diapers when she was a baby.
  2. Although I admit diapers aren't cheap, I don't think I would have the patience, I mean seriously do you really think it's that easy? And peeing in a public sink? Now that's disgusting!!! I think I will just continue using diapers until a year or so then try to potty train. That away I have more time playing and cuddling with my baby, instead of focusing on potty training at a early age. If the environmental issues are a concern or money is tight, then why not give cloth a try?
  3. I read the article, and i dont think i would try "diaper free." Like how the guy had to help his daughter pee in the sink..... I would be embarassed if i had to do that because poeple would be starring at me probably thinking, "Does she not know what a toilet is?"
  4. Sure I haven't used diapers in nearly 30 years now. Give me another 50 and I might come full circle though.
  5. Under a tree? For a dog this is appropriate. Not so sure about a human...especially when he's 30! I vote no.
  6. Are you frikking kidding me? the only thing trained here is the parents?
