- change of clothes, diapers, formula, wipes, small first aid kit, baby lotion, baby powder, and a toy
- Nessecities: -A change of clothing for baby -2-3 extra diapers -Travel wipes -A sun hat -A burp cloth -A light blanket -A bottle if you use one -Formula if you use it Optional: -Diaper cream - A change of shirt for you (you never know when spitup will happen!) -A pacifier if you decide to use one -Small plastic bags to put dirty diapers -A small toy -A bib
- The hospital will provide you with what you need DURING your stay in there so you just need the basic things in your diaper bag like: Going home outfit a pair of mittens a baby beanie (or cap) socks 1 receiving blanket 2-3 diapers (depending on how far your drive home is) diaper wipes formula (if you're not breastfeeding) In my case, I packed everything and the things I listed above were the only ones I used for the baby on the way home. One more thing: do install your carseat correctly before you get admitted in the hospital. Goodluck!!
- Wet wipes (yes for you), big undies, tootbrush, toothpaste, 2 nightgowns or pj's, 3 magazines or a good book, some candy if you like, your cell phone, cold cream, makeup, brush, scrunchie, clothes to go home in (make sure the pants are loose or opt for a skirt), slippers (bedroom/and to go home in), glasses if you wear, contacts, contact lense solution, aspirin.............
- if your asking about stuff for the actual baby nothing except a couple little outfits if you plan on doing the newborn picturns. the reason I say a couple is pick some that are different colors so youcna match his or her complexsion at the time of the photo my little one was more red and the pink out fit just didn't work. also bring a couple different receiving blankets just in case you don't like the background. the hospital everythting else you need so take advantage and stock up onn a few extra supplies before you leave
- Of course diapers, wipes, about 3 or 4 changes of clothes,a blanket or 2. Just depends on how big your diaper bag is. Also maybe some empty bottles or formula if your not breastfeeding.
- This is what is in my bag and I am having number 4. And with every pregnancy I said I wish I had this when in the hospital so get ready I have alot of stuff. Two night gowns that snap in the front to breast feed 5 pair of panties in case some get messed up 2 pair of socks my feet were cold 1 pair of slippers that or non skid 3 nursing bras 5 disposable breast pads two out fits for me to go home in with my last child I wish I had brought something else. brush, comb, any styling products you may use like gel. hair bands to keep your hair out of your face while in labor I like my make up for pictures my husband did not stop taking my phone book to call friends and family once baby came a cell phone charger digital camera 5 dollars in change for my husband for the vending machine a shirt, boxers, and a pair of socks for my husband so he can have clean things to go home in as well in case it is over night or long delivery then after dinner i was brought no extra food so I took gram crackers for late hunger pains then I could not sleep so I wished I had something to do other than watch tv so I packed thank you cards this time then for the baby two outfits to go home in you don't know the weather socks little hat blanket now I have other children so i packed coloring books and crayons so they can do something when the come see the baby in case they get bored with him. they give you soap and tooth paste but I took my own I took my own pads as well then my husband threw in some playing cards for us to play if it gets to boring just waiting. We are pretty packed for our two days good luck hope you get some ideas from our bag.
- Think of your diaper bag as your Swiss Army Knife of diaper care. The diaper bag should encompass the changing pad, the extra change of clothes, baby wipes, creams, sealable bags, food and more. Also include a hat for the baby, socks and mittens
- ~I always take hand sanitizer or disinfectant wipes ~Extra Diapers, enough depending on how long your goin to be gone. ~Diaper wipes- I always have alot.. they are for so much more then just dirty bottoms ~Diaper cream ~A pacifier-if your baby likes them ~I take a bib.. ~At least one extra set of clothes ~I take a small receiving blanket.. In case it gets cold- or need to do a quick change somewhere ~Extra bottles- If you dont breast feed ~A bottle of water ~Formula- I love the containers that portion out the bottle amount.. ~Rattles and toys that will catch there attention.
- Diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, bib, change of clothes, receiving blanket, washcloth, bottle, formula (if you choose to supplement or use formula only), and an extra pacifier (if you choose to use one). You might also want to stick some Mylicon drops in there- they come in handy for gas and spit-up.
- diapers (at least 3), wipes, changing pad, 2 extra outfits (at least), butt paste or diaper cream (we carry a travel baby body wash kit(lotion, wash, washrag, shampoo, baby sun screen, diaper cream--just in case), a small toy or two, a hat of some kind, paci, a blanket (if breast feeding make it a large, light blanket to cover with), an extra pair of socks...for mommy(I ditched using a purse once I got the diaper bag) keys, wallet, phone, tampons or pads, breast pads, an extra shirt (babys spit up and have poopy explosions on occasion), sunglasses....as baby gets older you'll want to take snacks with you too! If you're bottle feeding you'll probably need a bottle of water, a bottle, formula pre measured packet or pre measured in the bottle already....a burp rag or small bib *I'd leave it next to the door! The first time we went out with baby....we forgot the diaper bag!!! :) We had to turn around and drive 15 minutes back to the house and get it : ) Also...we leave an extra diaper bag packed and ready at all times in the car in case we run out of something or forget the bag... Best of luck!
- change of clothes 2-3 diapers Desitin package of wipes burp rag blanket tylenol gas drops nursing pads for you pacifier..if they take one
- Pretty much what others have said, but I also pack a couple ziplock baggies...they're great for dirty bibs, spoons, dirty clothes, dropped pacifiers, stuff like that. I figure anything that ends up in the zippies needs to be cleaned!
