Huggies diapers?
Huggies diapers? I have two months old and have been using huggies diapers since he was born. The problem is, that he very often pees throught it - the diaper is not nearly full, but his whole back or stomach are wet. I used to be a nanny and used huggies diapers with all the infants I have taken care of and I never had this problem. We are using the right size and putting it on right {I believe} so what is the problem? Do you think pampers would be better?

- I had the same problem - it is positioning rather than amount. Pampers did not solve the problem. Is your baby near the top end of the weight for that size diaper? I found that switching to the next size up made a big difference (I switched to the 16-28 lb size 3 diapers at 15 lbs, even though the size 2 are for 12-18 lb babies). I also found that the Huggies Hugflex diapers are slightly better than the regular Huggies. And of course, make sure that the "faucet" is pointing down at all times! My son is now 6 1/2 months old, 19 lbs, and has wet through the diaper maybe once in the last 2 or 3 months.
- I had the same problem.....i started pointing my baby penis down and it works great he hasn't peed through the diaper for a while know....my baby boy is about t turn three months old and pees a lot i believe that the main thing was to just point him down. Maybe this is the problem.......you should try it!!!
- Point it down. Huggies are good diapers and I prefer them. They only leak if they are too tight or too loose or the baby hasn't been changed enough. Also note not only point it down but make sure that when you fasten the diaper on both sides that there isn't a big gap on the sides (opening between the tab and the part where it sticks on the tummy) and also pull the gathered elastic part on the inner thighes out so that it guards the legs from leaking thru. Sometimes if you don't pull out that elastic part around the inner legs it leaves an open area and then it soils everything. Good luck. I don't recommend pampers if your son has sensitive skin, my daughter was allergic to them. If your not happy with huggies then try a store brand diaper (believe it or not Walgreens and most gorcery store brands are actually good).
