Diapers Q&A

If you own a patunia pickle bottom CAKE bag, how do you like it?

My birthday is soon, and I think I will be asking my hubby for a petunia pickle bottom bag. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Cosmopolitian style (the one that looks like an old time Dr.s bag) in cream tweed with black velvet. I think the society satchel is OK, but I am not sure how practical the deisgn of it is. I do also really love the Cameo clutch one, in the same black and cream coloring. But I am not sure, again, how practical this styling is. If you have one of the 3, which is it; and how well does it function for you. I have a soon to be 12 month old, and we are TTC again. I dont like to carry a purse and a diaper bag so it needs to not only hold the baby stuff; but also my wallet and a tube of lipstick ect. For my daughter we are basically done with bottles and never need extra outfits, all we ever have with us is a small bowl with food; diapers and wipe; a changing pad; and a sippy of water. But if we have another baby we will need all the typical stuff for a newborn. Which do you think?

  1. I don't have the cake diaper bag, I have one of the Boxy backpacks and I love it! It was well worth the money! Take good care of the bag and you can sell it on e-bay when you are done with it, if you want. I would go with the Cosmo style if you have another you will need the extra room.
  2. I have two Petunia ones (the Cake ones are soooo cute, though). Anyway, I have the silk box backpack thing in pink. I like the look, hate the way it wears-it's very hard to clean in this light color. So, I bought the mid town clutch (I think it's mid town clutch. It's the clutch bag, a smaller bag). I lOVE it!!!! It's vinyl, so it stays nice. I got the green and purple one with the peacocks on it. Cake ones are nice, but my friend told me they are hard to clean also with all the velvet on them. So get one that doesn't have velvet or silk.
