  1. Give your local hospital a ring. They will be grateful for it.
  2. Take them to your nearest elderly hospital, or any hospital. or you can give them to homer Simpson he tends to like watching T.V and going to the toilet.
  3. Take them to a local nursing home or call around to local churches. My mom did the same thing :)
  4. Nursing homes or State funded hospitals... The ones who only are open by the grants and such> They would appreciate those.
  5. Find a local Center for Independent Living (CIL) in Chicago. This is a place that assists people with disabilities in living independent lives at home. They generally live on less than $700 per month (the going rate for disability) and often those who need diapers cannot afford them and must go without. CILs often have store rooms in which to keep supplies for people in need. CILS often recycle durable medical goods, also. If you mom had a walker, a bath chair, a wheelchair, commode or other equipment, CILS will be glad to take them off your hands. They might even come and pick it up. Condolences on the loss of your mother, and bless you for thinking of others in her memory.
  6. try senior and disabled services, they can hook you into the right place, like nursing homes, home bound seniors, low income ppl,etc
