Huggies Goodnights Diapers?
Do Huggies Goodnights Diapers actually work better then regular huggies? I do not want ppl saying use Pampers my son is alergic to them and frankly I have used them and did not think they were any different quality. My question is simple do the goodnights {size 4} actually work better then the regular diapers and would they be worth the purchase just to use at night when my 10 month old son is sleeping? He wakes at night for water {again dont want your opinion on this I do what is right for my son and my family} and when I give him his water I check his diaper its not wet but when he wakes about 5-6 he is soaked. Sometimes just the top of his PJ bottoms other times his PJ bottoms and top are both soaked so I have to completely change him which wakes him up 100% and give me the most adorable cranky baby all day. If you have used the goodnights please give me your input if you havent dont waste your time 2 points really shouldnt be that important ty My mistake I ment OVERNIGHTS which come in sizes 3 16 - 28 lbs 4 22 - 37 lbs 5 27 - 40 lbs Sorry that I said goodnights I typed this at 5 in the morning and was rather tired

- The goodnights work, but not better than regular diapers and they are more expensive. Goodnights are for older bedwetters and you may not find a suitable size for one so young.
- this is just a suggestion and a cheaper soultion but might sound weird, but have you tried placing a pad (womens sanitary product) in his diaper, i do this with my 11 month old because we basically have the smae problems that you do, this works really great and saves laundry and money. and the overnight ones do work to answer your question.
- I have not ever tried the Goodnights, but I can tell you my 14mos old daughter sleeps 12+ hrs at night so the bed wetting is a problem. What we have found works best is to go ahead and buy the next size up in the same diapers you are using (we use Huggies baby shaped fit). Hannah is in size 3's right now but she leaks if she sleeps in them. We put her in size 4's to sleep and she wakes up in dry pjs.
- Yes they work. Another suggestion would be to use a size up diaper. My daughter likes to have some water from time to time at night and we just give her a little less water to help with the wetting of the diaper. I do wish you the best of luck and dryer nights!
- Good Nights are for bigger kids who have trouble staying dry overnight.
- I use the good nights and like them better. My son is 4 years old and about 40 pounds. He stops drinking fluids at dinner and he has not leaked out of these all. The Goodnights brand that I have start out at 30pounds, so look at the other kinds. We did the younger version of the good nights too. When he was leaking bad, our ped told us that as long as he is hydrated during the day, he wouldn't need night fluids. We weaned our son from this, we just told him "we were out" and he bought it. Later he picked up on this, so we told him that when we set the alarm, the refrigerator locks. Whatever works for you and doesn't harm your family, go for it. We gave our M & Ms to potty train.
- I didn't find that the overnights worked any better. Try a bigger size, and put a pullup over it. I have the same problem with my son.
- I always liked Pampers better for my babies...I know that you don't want to hear that, but at night I used Huggies Overnights with my youngest son and they were the only diaper that he woke up dry with. They really do hold more urine.
- My daughter was the same way with the drinking water and still is at 6. The Overnites work much better at stopping leaks but I have always had to change her in the night. I got tired of changing clothes and bedding so I just got up inbetween time and changed her.
- We had the same problem with my son - he peed through everything - I tried the diaper liners, the sanitary pad trick, even rolling him onto his back in the night. I buy the Huggies overnights now but in a size up (norm. he's a 4 - I buy 5) just for the night time. They have surely saved us washing sheets, pjs, and mattress pads every morning! Plus, he wakes up much happier and that's worth the extra dollars.
