Diapers Q&A

What is the best brand of all in one cloth diapers?

I tried the bumpkins for my son. I gave up & switched to disposables because he kept getting diaper rashes. We are expecting another baby in Oct. & would like to try the cloth diapers again. I need to know from experience which brand has the best absorbancy & holds up well in the washer & dryer. I'm considering Fuzzi Bunz or Bum Genius. These diapers are expensive & I want to purchase the right kind this time. I hope someone can help..

  1. Hempers Hemp Diapers, they are good for the bottom and the earth.
  2. I just used plain old cloth diapers. I kept the scent thing in the top to cut out the odor. I ran them thru the rinse cycle first, then washed with bleach and detergent and then ran it agian thru the rinse cycle. I was lazy, I just thru them in a laundry baket and kep it under the changing table and used them as needed. I didn;t see the need to fold them, they were prefolded.
  3. I would also check out sweetcheeks, they are pretty good.
  4. o heavens i've asked this question 100 times, forget about the AIOs they are soo damn harrd to dry and care for and the waterproof cover only lasts so long....gets some good DSQ(diaper service quality) prefolds and some really nice wraps it'll save u a ton of moohla and they're easier to wash and wrinse clean...it's an extra 3seconds to plop a diap in a cover and it's well worth it... u'll never have to worry about giving your diaps an extra wash or wrinse and how i'll effect the cover....even tho they're soooo much cuter everone i've talked to says their a pain and that the good trusty prefold wins hands down...they say the only thing aios are good for are going out, babysitters, and grandparents........the bumgenius are amazing but even they only last so long and their pricy...kushies suck, waste of money they wear out quickly.......i want a aio with leg gussets! dosen't that just make sence...
