huggies vs. kirkland diapers?
my husband went to costco yesterday, and i specifically told him to get huggies diaper. they are the only ones that dont seem wo leak with our son. well he came home with kirkland (the costco generic) and already opened the box, so we cant take them back. he says huggies makes krikland. is this true? ive never heard that before. does the kirkland brand stand up to the quality of huggies or other name brand diaper's? ive had problems with leakage with walmart brand and target brand diapers, so im worried that the costco brand will leak too and ill be changing his clothes everytime he pee's

- I know how you feel. I was a huggies mom too (four boys). I think he was just trying to cover his mistake, though. I don't think Kirkland is affiliated with Huggies brand diaper. You might as well try them out, though, since you can't take them back. If they are not working, take them to a women's shelter.
- The only way you'll know if they work for your son is to try them out. For some people, they work just as well if not better. For other people, they don't work as well. Personally, I prefer the Parents Choice Brand over all the others. That's just me though. - I love the Kirkland brand. Never had any problems but I didn't start using them until my daughter was over 18 months so for younger babies, they might leak a little bit. Overall, I've been extremely pleased with Kirkland. Good luck!
- Huggies does not make kirkland, costco does. I have actually had GREAT luck with kirkland brand I was very surprised. I was totally dedicated to huggies brand and never thought of using a different one until my husband did the same thing yours did. Now that's all we buy. Hope they work well for you too! It's nice because they're like 10 bucks cheaper than huggies too.
- My friends and I think that Huggies leak the worst! I use Kirkland because they DON'T leak!! Try them. I don't know if Huggies make Kirkland diapers - I can't imagine that since I see a huge difference in the quality.
- I'm not sure but I have heard a lot of people LOVING on the kirklands diapers! I dont have a costco nearby, so I can;t buy them. I wish I did so I could try them. but I have heard nobody complain about them! Personally I prefer Huggies out of all that I have tried....(Pampers.. too expensive but nice., Luvs (ick), playskool(eh), and white cloud(these are ok)
- I have tried to find this out as well. The off brands are made by many of the name brands but I just do not know which are which. I found that even name brands, only a certain type worked for my kids. We use Huggies. But I would say try them. It really does not matter who makes them just that they keep the pee pee and poop in. I have found that I LOVE the Costco wipes. I have not tried the diapers but if they are anything like the wipes they should be OK. Either way in a few weeks if they are bad you will be getting some more. I hope they work for you because I know how much of a pain it is to have leaky diapers.
