Diapers Q&A

Which store brand diapers do you like the best?

My daughter is a size 4 and currently using Huggies Snug & Dry. I love Pamper's but to expensive Tried Target's brand - terrible. Costco's brand (Kirkland) - pretty good, the same price of Huggies though. Luvs - gives my daughter a rash Which store brand diapers do you like the best? (looking to save some money) I usually buy them when they are on sale with coupons, but even then, the store brand are cheaper.

Public Comments

  1. Target, never had a leak or poop shoot out from the back.
  2. We use Huggies as well and have no problems whatsoever with them.
  3. Dollar General
  4. we liked walmart's parents choice brand
  5. I have never had luck with any of the store brands. I just buy in bulk at Sam's Wholesale club.
  6. Pampers and Huggies are too expensive LOL!! I use Wal mart's Parents Choice brand or some Wal Marts carry White Cloud. Mine uses size 4 and you can get a whole box for only $14-15 for both brands. That box lasts me a month and 1/2.
  7. Costco brand is really good,my friend Nina raves about Walgreens brand.
  8. I use the Costco's brand and love them. Sometimes you can check the grocery stores, like ShopRite/Target which run sales on the jumbo packs of pamper's cruisers (stock up- usually have a limit per purchase though).
  9. Personally I refuse to use store brand diapers. I've never known anyone who has ever used them that didn't have leaks or other problems with them. Someone I know uses them and their little one ALWAYS has had bad rashes from birth. I use HUGGIES exclusively for my child and he has NEVER had a rash in his entire life, much less a leaky problematic diaper.
  10. We did a experiment in my science class on which brand absorbs the most: Huggies White Cloud Pampers Huggies was teh best. Teh msot expensive nut better quality.
  11. I Use BJ's Whosale Brand(Berkley & Jensen)... and my Inlaws buy Walmart (White Cloud) Brand... My Mom gets name brand (Pampers usually) http://babycheapskate.blogspot.com/2008/04/diaper-review-bjs-warehouse.html
  12. Here's what we've tried: Pamper's swaddlers - No problems Target - ICK! Parent's Choice - leaked Sam's - bunched up in the middle Huggies - no leaks, but my son stunk so bad as soon as he would urinate - maybe his ph mixed with the diaper material? Luvs - Doesn't draw urine away from his skin. Diaper gets gooey fast. Toys R Us (Just for Baby) - leaks, leaks, leaks Pamper's baby dry - leaks White Cloud - too bulky We use Pamper's Cruisers and have had NO issues at all. I think before a baby starts crawling, you can get away with more than once they are mobile. My sister and I share each "test" box of diapers so we aren't stuck with a big box if they suck. Her 5 month old is using the White Cloud diapers and so far there have been no issues. I would go back to Huggies to save some money, but the last two boxes I've bought had really hard, stiff patches throughout the diaper. I contacted the company and got some coupons and more diapers, but not near enough to compensate for what was wasted. I'm not a diaper snob - just tried everything and think Pamper's works the best for us. We buy the huge boxes at Sam's.
