- Most grocery stores sell them -- the best type to purchase are those that pull on like regular underwear. As you don't feel them, and they are comfortable and not noticable under clothing. Depends brand makes them and I am sure there are other brands that do the same thing. Just don't get the ones with straps yuk! I have used these myself when I have problems with my irritable bowel syndrome and they work great.
- well thickness is not the answer some very thick onse really suck at wettness preotection. i would suggest the "wings" brand, i use them and am happy with them and they dont leak alot. they can be ordered online or at most medical supply shops, the depend brand is quite bad these days and i do not reccomend it.
- You can buy them from http://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&keywords=adult%20diapers%20&tag=p045-20&index=hpc&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325
- The best brands in the US are imported from Europe. Currently, there is Molicare, Eurobrief/ID Slip, and Abena. I've seen Molicare and Abena on Amazon, but these brand come in different capacities. Check to make sure you're getting the higher-capacity grade, especially for nighttime use. The cost of these is more per diaper, but these are more absorbent than typical grocery store or pharmacy brands. As a result, they don't need to be changed as often (less risk of leaking or rash with these). Good luck to your friend.

- It depends how much he leaks, if it is just a little you could always go with Depend Underwear, Adjustables, or Fitted Briefs. I was in an accident and ran into the same problems. During the day I use Depend Adjustable if I go out, since you can't tell if someone is wearing them. If I'm at home or going to bed I use Abena Abri-Forms from xpmedical.com
- Well, of course you're lying about buying them for a friend and obviously you have a fetish. I'm not judging, mind you, since I have a fetish as well. The thickest diapers are Abena Abri-Form X-Plus and Molicare Super Plus.
