Diapers Q&A

Do NASCAR drivers wear adult diapers during long races?

Just curious...I mean, what else do you do if you have to go? And it's gotta be much harder to drive if you have to pee, so... Of course they go before they leave, but the Indy 500 is about four hours long!

  1. that queston is uncofterbul for them or as you say the drivers no one is going to answer that
  2. I don't know if they do. But that is a cool idea.
  3. No, they pee before they leave.
  4. um no. Just a long potty break before racing
  5. They go to the potty right before they get into the car. No, they do not wear adult diapers.
  6. No and actually youll hear some of the drivers saying they had to go so bad that they went in their cars. Then the team has to clean out the car. Woops. Because they have to drink a lot of liquids so you better believe they have to pee really bad after a race with all of those vibrations.
  7. i do not think that they wear diapers, but that is a cool idea, were did you get it from.
  8. I'm fairly certain that they don't wear an adult diaper. I was surprised at the question.
  9. It's so hot in the cars that they sweat out almost to the point of dehydration. Having to pee isn't an issue.
  10. No
  11. Actually no they don't. they usually sweat it out during the race or just never think about it and dont realize they even have to go. however i've heard some of the drivers say that there have been times where they have just had to pee in the car. in fact dale jr. is one of them. but no they dont wear anything, they just deal with it, hell if i was in one of those racecars the last thing on my mind would be finding a bathroom.
  12. No they don't wear any diapers. If they have to go to the bathroom they just go. Yeah it sucks but I wouldn't be able to hold it in for 4-5 hours at a time either
  13. i dont think so... but i remember reading those riding with juniors on foxsports.com and junior and tony eury were talking about junior having to pee and tony told him to just go... so maybe they just pee on themselves
  14. no they don't
  15. They go before the race, and if something happens during the race and they need to go...well, that's what they do...they go. Sick, yes but a few drivers have admitted to doing it. But like 98% of the time, they sweat it out, so they rarely have that problem.
  16. They sweat out most of their fluids just driving around.
  17. They have the same system as fighter pilots. It's called a "honey bucket" system. Funnel, tube and container....no problem
  18. yes
  19. hellno
  20. They are'nt in the geriatric ward. It's not that hard for a physically capable person to control their bladder functions. Especially during a high energy activity for which they have trained for. It's not like they're in a starnge place and didn't have it planned out, that they were going to be doing what they're doing at that time. So you just go before, or after. If your that out of control with your bodily functions, you wouldn't be responsible enough to do something as physically critical as racing. It's easy enough to go eight hours without losing control of your bodily functions, four hours would be really easy. It's a funny perception, but no, NASCAR race car drivers don't wear diapers and they don't do it in their car while they're driving.
  21. No it really isnt that hard to hold it in that long for a Guy especially when you sweat out 6-8 Pounds per race!!!!!!
  22. Only the crybabies.
  23. a local radio station was interviewing jeff gordon the other morning and they asked him the same question. he said they held it and his reason that they could hold it was because they had a hard enough time staying hydrated with all the heat inside the car. but i'm sure there have been times that drivers wish they had wore diapers
  24. yes , they do
  25. Depends. Most drivers or as far as I know none of the drivers do.
  26. Someone call Rusty it will give something important to say
  27. I have heard that they wear no diapers, but they still go while they are driving, so they probably have to drive with their firesuit soaked. YUCK!!!!!
  28. I always wondered this myself, then again when you gotta go you gotta go, ask Tony when he was complaining about an upset stomach at Watkins Glen and was gonna have another driver finish the race for him, but then he must have pooped himself and went on to finish and win the race, notice how afterwards he dissappeared instead of giving an interview, funny but poor guy
