Do you consider it lazy to use disposable diapers?
I'm not saying it's lazy lol, I've heard this said and I wonder your opinions!

- Absolutely not. I consider it convenient and when you are taking care of a baby, convenience is a necessity!
- nope not at all.my mum used disposable on us all. the cloth ones are old fashioned.
- I have a 3 year old and 6 month old and i have always used disposables until about 1 month ago. I don't consider it lazy, i just think cloth is nicer on their bums and the environment. I still use disposables at night at the moment, and that is being lazy because it's quicker to change/more absorbant and i'm so tired at night.
- NO!!!! i have 3 yr old child i only used towel nappies when i was at home disposable are great n convenient u dnt wanna b somwhere and ur baby is wet which will upset them and u cant change them rite away they make disposable absorb the urine so it dosnt rub on ur childs private area there great i used both and had no problems if anything my son got rashes from towl nappies
- No. I used cloth for my first daughter, but the other two have been in disposables. Washing diapers, and taking care of them is a lot of work. Not mention it can get rather expensive depending on the cloth diaper you use. Disposables aren't the lazy way, NOT changing the baby would be.
- No. It's definitely not the most eco-friendly option, but I simply don't have the time to use cloth diapers. I live in a rural area and they do not have diaper services. If there were diaper services here, I'd consider it. But I don't think using disposable diapers is lazy.
- You could argue the opposite. Disposable require numerous trips to the store; hauling in from the car; finding of storage space for ditto, and then dealing with the non-stop garbage. Cloth, on the other hand, is always at the ready or a quick tumble through the washer. But who cares? Cloth vs disposable is not an issue of significant benefit or detriment to baby.
- No not at all, Ther all clean and free from germs and u dont need to worry that the washer hasnt cleaned them properly, ther easy to change and store in ur bag...great invention
- Nope, it's not lazy.
- absolutely not!! everybody is entitled to their own choices and opinions and if you decide to use disposable then so be it!! its hardly being lazy.....lazy is not changing your baby when it needs doing!
- As a full time working Mama...I consider it necessary.
- no just its alot easier! not only have you alot to d already with a new born but to add washing nappies to the work load i think may bit hard! convienient not lazy
- Absolutely not! People who say this obviously aren't parents!
- Nope. I've tried all; cloth, gdiaper, and disposable. I know cloth and gdiaper are both supposed to be more economical but you still have to buy things for the gdiaper and both the gdiaper and cloth take more time away from the babies and are harder to put on sqwiggly babies. Those two also eat up more resources such as power and water so it's a catch22 in my book. My laundry room is in the basement which is hard for me; I can't leave my two year old with my four month old for any length of time or he'll be sitting on him when I come back up. Disposables are great time savers, they don't use any extra work or power and gives me time to do more important things like play with my kids. If that's lazy, then let people call me lazy. I've been called worse on here. :)
- Heck no it's not lazy! I think cloth diapers are disgusting...who wants to wash all those messy diapers? NOT ME! As long as you change your baby often and keep them clean and rash free who really cares? I wouldn't have it any other way...disposable diapers are AWESOME :)
- It is not lazy to use disposable diapers. It is a time-saver, though, because I don't have to wash, dry, fold diapers. I suppose that if you spend the time that disposable diapers saved you watching soap operas and eating potato chips, that would be lazy. But I spend the extra time playing with my children, cleaning my house, and those types of things. So no, it is not lazy. It is just a life-style choice. Simple as that.
