  1. You can - just cut a tail hole for her. Alternatively, a pair of boy's pants with a hole cut and lined with a liner can work just as well.
  2. I've known many people to do that. They just cut a hole for the dogs tail. Seems to work just fine. They may even be cheaper than the ones for dogs!! lol Good luck.
  3. You can, so long as she doesn't tear them off. My advice is to fix your dog.
  4. This sounds messy and like poor hygene. Would you want to sit in menstral blood?
  5. anything will work if you can keep it on her. cloth diaper with safety pins will stay on better.
  6. you can but they wont stay on well! and you need to cut the hole just right for the tail to come through. you can buy a diaper designed for this at almost any pet store for like $20 its made out of denim and velcro and they work real good you just change the pads like you would for a human! you will have to buy pads for them though but you can use regular feminine pads for this as long as there are no scents or perfumes! you will want to use light flow for a dog!
  7. Buy her some doggie diapers, they will fit better.
  8. Pull ups with a tail hole work pretty well, lol. They have an elastic waist band which is better because the tape on diapers doesn't do so well with dogs who seem to want to lick and pull at the tabs.
  9. Actually for the week after we got our dog she was in heat and we had to wait til we could get in her into the vet to be fixed of course so we had to do something it was gross. So what I did was I took a pair of my old underwear and a maxi pad and when ever she was in the house I tied the underwear on her we joked that it looked like a sumo diaper she wasn't happy but she left it on and I didn't have to be all grossed out. And for the person who said how would you like to sit in menstral blood what do you think a maxi pad does?
  10. You can, but baby diapers are expensive. You can go to PetSmart, Feeders Supply or PetCo, or whatever large pet supply store chain you have in your area and buy a pet "diaper". They are lined, made out of decorative cloth or denim, and attach with velcro and have elastic to help hold it in place. The initial investment is a bit pricey, about $20, but it is washable, reusable, and they do a good job staying in place. You can use regular femine panty liners inside the "diaper". I would recommend this if you are not planning on getting your dog spayed anytime soon, to use each season, (which is usually every 6 mos. for 21 days.) Remember, if you are not wanting to breed your dog just yet, that this will not serve as a "chasity belt" from males. They can still manage to get around doggie diapers, high fences, and other means to get their girl.
