My Dog Chew on it's Diapers?
Hi, I put on the diapers for my female maltese but she just cant stop chewing on it and make a mess around the house . Is there a way to stop her from chewing it!? I really needs advice... Thanks Sorry i mean chewing on the diapers that i had put on her. I need to put diapers on her as she is getting old and begin to pool and urine around the house.

- um ya depending on why she is wearing the diaper either house train her or get her spayed, or both EDIT: sounds like you need to consult a vet and get her on some meds

- um, dogs arent going to to wear diapers just because you want them to. its something foreign on their bodies that they are going to want to get off... why on earth do you have diapers on your dog?
- if the reason she is wearing diapers is one of these (a)vet recommended (b)your really wierd (c)shes having her period (d)she pees on you floor answer dont let her wear the diaper...its only natural for a monkey...not a dog....but if its any other than (a) than potty train her and dont make her wear that...shes apperently telling you..get this thing the hell off of me...i look rediculouse
- It's a wonderful thing you're doing for your old girl. Try this website for advice from people in a similar situation: Edit: Spaying causes urinary incontinence, it is definitely not a cure for it.
