How do you like ur bum genius diapers?

How many did you buy? did you need to buy inserts? How do you like them compared to other types of cloth diapers? When I bought prefolds for my first baby I bought 4 doz to get me through 3- 4 days. I'm assuming I will need about that many so I'm not washing daily. How many did you buy? Just wondering because they're a little pricey. Also, do they really fit good from newborn to toddler? Thanks!

1. We use BumGenius pocket nappies (diapers), the two inserts come with the nappies, you don't buy them separately. I absolutely love them, they look good, they don't leak, they're easy to use, easy to wash, quick to dry, I don't have a bad word to say against them. They are a little pricey, but they are worth it for the quality, they are very well made. We bought 12 initially -- (an assortment of pinks, blues, whites yellows and greens), then another one recently -- so we have 13 now and that does our 9.5 month old just fine, just enough to keep in good wearing/washing rotation. If you were to use them on a newborn you'd need a few more, because newborns need to be changed much more frequently than an older baby. They have 3 settings on each one, small medium and large (adjustable by poppers) -- the small would fit a very small baby, possibly not a tiny newborn though. I personally love these nappies, they are exactly what I wanted. You can see my daughter wearing one in my picture there.
