  1. Hello. It is different for a boy or girl as the thickest part needs to be at the front for boys as that is were they pee,and little girls pee and it runs up their back so the thickest part needs to be at the back.I cannot show you how to fold it so I suggest you Google search.
  2. it depends also on what type of diaper you are using - prefold or flat there are many different folds for each kind - the 2 best that work for me are: Prefold - Twist fold - lay diaper flat - grab front - fold left side to right and right side to left - you will probably have to adjust the middle edges so they are straight - in the middle - one side is going to be on the inside of the diaper, and the other side is going fold over on the outside of the diaper - bring up between legs and snappi - or use pins (i recommend the snappi) Flat fold diaper - Kite fold - kind of difficult to explain, but works well for a boy or a girl as the way you put it on, you can choose where thickness goes - lay diaper flat - choose one corner and pick up and fold the corner next to it - bring it to the middle - then do that with the other corner on the other side of the point - this should resemble a kite or a triangle with a pointy bottom - take the pointy bottom and fold up towards the other point - this will make it into a a triangle - same shape up top - but a flat/straight across bottom - then fold in the sides however narrow you need them - and then fold in the point to however short or long you need the rise - then put on like a regular diaper - bring up the middle then the sides and snappi or pin some people say that you need the thickness at certain places in the diaper depending on if it is a boy or a girl - i think it is front for boys and back for girls - for my baby i have not noticed that she requires that - and in fact - i have better results with putting the thickness towards the front for her - depending on what kind of diaper cover you use - velcro sides - you can place a flatfold or a prefolds folded in the shape of a rectangle in the cover and fasten the cover - that works pretty good for me as well - wait until after a BM though for that fold!
