Which diapers are better Pampers or Huggies?
Which diapers have a better withstanding when it comes to blowouts and heavy wet diapers? Would Pampers or Huggies be a better choice?

- huggies hands down!!!!!!
- i personally like pampers, i found that the parents choice are good also, i just bought them to see how they would do bc they are half the price, but, you would have to get some of each and try them and see what you think.
- Pampers hold more liquid than huggies but huggies fit better
- pampers when I used huggies, and my son started sleeping through the night, he'd wake up a few times in the middle of the night because his diaper had exploded. they're uncomfortable, and very saggy with even the slightest bit of wetness. they look crappy as well, like rags with tabs on them.
- Pampers! Swaddlers, then Cruisers
- Girls= Huggies Boys= Pampers
- I personally like Huggies as ive never heard of Pampers. Huggies are real thick and absorb twicw as much as a cheaper brand.
- I like huggies best for diapers and wipes.
- I think it depends on the sex of your baby. Pampers work great with my son. Huggies work better with my friends daughter.
- Pampers swaddlers the first few weeks. They fit the best for newborns. Then Huggies.
- I have a boy and personally I prefer HUGGIES they are really good at keeping it all in. When I used pampers they were always soaking threw my songs clothes which resulted in numerous changes of his outfits. Also whenever he would go number too it would always find its way out of the sides. So I would go with Huggies, I would also recommend LUVS.
- it actually depends on the baby. try both before you commit to one brand. i like them both but i like the fact that pampers is easy to check if they are wet because they get that "gel" feeling to the crotch.
- i personally loooooove pampers and they kinda smell like vanilla! i know this is weird but i took a diaper (pampers sz 1-2) and wanted to see how much it would hold and i poured 2 coffee cups full of water in it before it leaked and i tried it with a sample huggies and the huggies barely held one coffee cup of water. i think its all a trial and error thing. i would start w. pampers or huggies a small back and see how they work for u and your baby!
- I like Huggies better only because Pampers are scented and this had a reaction with my son who has sensitive skin. Leak wise, they are both the same. (Pampers swaddlers=Huggies Supreme, Pampers Baby Dry=Huggies regular.)
- I have a boy and found Pampers were better than Huggies Yr probably best buying a pack of each and seeing which u prefer...
- I always prefered Pampers
- I've been using Pampers for the past 3 months, and I've never had any problems... and my daughter has some major blowouts.
- Huggies fit better, but pampers hold better. Walmart's parents choice are a good substitute when money is low.
- Totally trial and error - Huggies worked best on my son, but my neighbour had better luck with Pampers on her son. I think it's all how the baby is shaped. One interesting thing - at least in Canada - Wal Mart's brand is actually made by Huggies, so you save a huge amount and are getting the same diapers. Another tip - I always found when my son was growing, if he'd start to leak a lot, I'd move him to the next size diaper up, that seemed to really help.
- Pampers, they definitely help contain the bad messes, I always found huggies leaked. My personal faves though are Asdas own brand, Asda are part of the big Walmart group so I dont know but Walmart in America may stock the same nappies.
- I found that using pampers newborns sizes 1 and 2 were great then a tried huggies during the day but did not find these as flexible but felt they kept the baby drier, so now I use active fit pampers during the day and then use huggies super dry at night so my answer is a mixture of both! hope this helps!
- I have always used pampers...never any problems. I have tried huggies once when I got a sample sent in the mail. I thought it looked cuter but when I used it I hated it. I didnt even use the rest of the samples. The huggies leaks and especially the blowouts...it got all over my sons clothes. I am a pampers supports as I hate huggies.
- i've never tried huggies but someone bought me pampers as a gift for my baby shower and i hate them. they're awul. i wouldn't suggest them to anyone!!!!
- I have had experience with all diapers. I'm a stay at home mom who also watches a couple of other children. They all have good and bad things about them. Most important is to find one that the baby will not have an allergic reaction to. My oldest daughter was allergic to LUVS. My second daughter was allergic to pampers. I personally love LUVS. They are as strecthy as huggies and pampers and absorbs alot. Plus you usually get 20 more diapers in the Luv package than you do for the other two brands and they are less expensive.I tried recently to use cheaper ones by white cloud and they worked well, but wouldn't know, my scond daughter is allergic to them also. good luck.PS. go to thier websites and sign for free coupons and they send a sample in the mail for you to try.
- you get more cupons for pamers
- Huggies is the best if you ask me, but that is just what works for my twin 3 yr old boys. It realy depends on the size of you child and shape of your child. My kids are real littloe for their age. Huggies is very dependable and does not cause us trouble. Pampers are ok, but my kids pufer Huggies. Fits and feels better. So my answer is Huggies all the way ! ! ! ! ! ! !
