Where else besides online can i buy cloth diapers?
I live in NYC. I want to use cloth diapers when my baby is born. Where else can i buy besides online. I would like to actually see some or even feel them in a store before I buy. Does anyone know of an actual store that I can walk into and buy, or maybe you know of a website where I can get a sample of fabric.

- Usually any store that has a baby aisle or baby section carries cloth diapers. Just go to the baby section and look near the blankets and bedding and stuff like that and usually they are mixed right in with that(I don't see why there are not with the diapers but whatever I guess...)
- I was buying some airvent bottles at walmart the other day and saw some. They were a pack of really big ones though. like 11 dollars i believe? pretty cheap. But they just seemed really big to me so i didn't get them. other then that try looking for a baby store? and good job on going cloth! I'm considering going cloth only when were at home because it'll save a lot of diapers.
- walmart and they make good burp rags too.
- babies r us, probably walmart....they are everywhere
- A lot of cloth diaper websites offer a sample package for you to try out. Bumgenius has a money-back guarantee if you use the diaper and you don't like it you can return it. Check http://www.softclothbunz.com/ for the $10 "try cloth diapers" package. Bummis also sells a no-frills cloth diapering kit for around $150 or so which basically has everything you need for the entire time your child is in diapers. Other websites that sell samplers packs or have guarantees are: www.abbyslane.com www.punkinbutt.com www.treecitydiapers.com www.cottonbabies.com Do not buy the "cloth diapers" sold at BRU or WalMart for diapering. They are worthless, ok for spit up rags but not for diapering. If you choose to use prefolds, you can use diaper service quality chinese prefolds which start at $1 or so each, very affordable.
- online is the best place. store bought diapers are not the quality that you would want to use to diaper your baby. try craigslist.org in your area to see if anyone has any that you can see or even buy.
