Cloth diaper question?
I use Gerber prefold cloth diapers (and plastic pants) on my son. The problem is that he is a big, big baby. I just don't see how I am going to be able to use these cloth diapers until he is ready to potty train. Does anyone know if you can get larger sized prefold cloth diapers? I can only find one size fits all type. Thanks!

- Try calling the local laundry/linen service in your area. (The kind that takes care of the linens for restaurants.) I know years ago they used to have diaper services that cleaned and delivered diapers. I don't know about now. You might have to make your own.
- The have toddler sizes, you can get them here: http://www.greenmountaindiapers.com/diapers.htm
- You can order diaper-service quality chinese prefolds, indian prefolds, or hemp/fleece prefolds online. They all come in a variety of sizes (including large toddler!) and the chinese and indian prefolds are very inexpensive. The hemp/fleece prefolds are a little pricier, but they absorb wonderfully. I order my hemp/fleece prefolds (made by Babykicks) from http://www.abbyslane.com And my dsq chinese prefolds from http://www.punkinbutt.com My daughter is 7 months and 17 pounds - I use large sized Babykicks hemp/fleece prefolds and Regular sized dsq chinese prefolds. I have not used indian prefolds but from what I hear they are comparable to the dsq chinese prefolds. Some other websites that may help: http://www.cottonbabies.com http://www.treecitydiapers.com I use Thirsties covers with my prefolds. They can be wiped out and resused a few times before needing a wash. They have velcro closure tabs and are so easy to use! They work much better than pull-on plastic pants. You can order them from some of the websites above.
