will dog diapers help my female dog and male dog not be able to have sex when my female dog is in heat?

- Getting them both fixed would be the safest thing to do
- Yes, people often do this. Make sure the diaper is properly fitted over the vaginal orifice. Your male will probably go crazy and mount, she'll accept at the right time, but it just won't go in...
- Why don't you just have her spayed? Thats way cheaper than constantly buying diapers. To answer your question though...yes
- Unlikely! Have you seen how determined a dog gets when a bitch is in heat? I can't see a nappy keeping him off.
- Umm i don't think it'll help that way. They could just tear it off and ya know get on with it. Diapers are used for female's in heat but when there bleeding. Only prevents messes on the floor! You can get them for the female... still NEVER leave them outta your site. Maybe put the female in the ketchen so if there is a mess you can easliy clean it up.. and you'll know where she is... and the male can be in a different room! There BOTH superfized and under contorl! THEN after her heat cycle... You should get her fixed so there are no unwanted puppies with no homes! Good luck!
- Does your male dog have teeth and paws? Then no, the diaper won't help. If you don't want puppies, then you either have to get one of them, or both, spayed/neutered, or keep them apart at all times during her heat - and by apart, I mean in different rooms, separated by two closed doors, if possible. Dogs can go through doors, fences, etc. to get at a female in heat - a diaper doesn't stand a chance!
