are there any off brand diapers that are as good as huggies?
i'm looking to save a few dollars on diapers as huggies are expensive. Looking for a storebrand that is as good as huggies. Are there any? we are in michigan (USA). i also need to convince my wife it's worth a try, i guess i can start by showing her the bank account.

- I think Luvs works better the Huggies for my daughter. Have you tried them? They are cheaper and really hold up.
- I just switched diapers too seeing that pampers are also pretty expensive!! They are my favorite kind but money is pretty tight seeing that i have twins that are in diapers. So i switched to white cloud and my girls seem to be doing fine with them! I havent had any leaks in them yet! and i got a little over 100 diapers for like 15 bucks!
- Not sure where you live, but Aldi stores in Australia have their own brand nappies that other parents tell me are as good as Huggies.
- i am not sure on the brand name but the walmart brand seems to work real well for the one little girl that i babysit for. my niece was never able to use anything other then pampers without breaking out, so we haven't tried any other brand out on her.
- We have used Teddy's Choice for both of our kids, and they work great! No leaks, good fit, only 1 diaper rash to speak of! We tried, but never liked Huggies. NOt sure where you are located, but in Canada, these are like $20.00 for 160 diapers.
- White cloud and parents choice you can get at wal-mart work just as well at least for my daughter Parents Choice is the cheapest out of the 2. I used Huggies for my son But with my daughter I have been using Parents Choice.
- Parents Choice the wall-mart brand i love them
- pampers is better.. huggies leaks in my opinion
- I buy the Walmart brand, Parents Choice for my 2 year old. I've also tried the Target brand, which is okay, and Luvs, but they're still more than Parents Choice.
- luvs or parent's choice!
- we use the walmart, target or dollar general brand diapers and i think that they're better than pampers or huggies. and so much cheaper. the walmart brand is probably my favorite. they fit my baby so good. we get a box of 104 diapers for like 14 dollars. we used pampers but they fit funny and leaked all the time!!!!
- if you go to the huggies website and sign up. they will send you tons of coupons in the mail. like $1.50 for diapers and $1.00 for wipes. it helps and you can often find huggies at costco (if it is out there) there are cheaper there. i try to pay between 16-18 cents per diaper. sometimes they are as high as 30cent /diaper so just watch the sales and stock up.
- We just switched to Kirkland, Costco's brand... I couldn't say they are comparable to huggies, we used pampers which I love, but a case of 160 size 3 pampers is 37.99 and a case of 200 size 3 Kirkland's are 35 or so. They are still cloth like and they have very good stretchy side tabs...if it helps any, Costco guarantees their products, if you are unhappy with them, just return the remainder with the receipt! (That is the only reason I tried them, and I didn't return, I'm happy!)
- Babies R Us has a brand Especially for Baby diapers that are good. They go on sale there and last time I got 2 cases size 1 (192) & 2 (180) for 20$. The only thing I find is that you have to stay within nthe sizes and lbs specified. I put my newborn 7lbs ino a #1 and just thught I would fold it, and it leaked straight through. I tried a few times and it leaked again so I figured I would use the expensive diapers until the baby fit properly in the size 1's which now he does and their is NO leaking at all the diapers work great and I will continue to use them. you will never know until you try. So just pick up a pack and use them at every other changing and show her. That way if it doesnt work fo ryou you still have the other diapers to work with.
