What kind of diaper pail should I get if I use cloth diapers?
I got some prefolds and covers because it was most economical and seems easy to use and I bought a "Bummis" tote bag thing in Large to put them in but I was wondering what kind of container I should use to hold the bag. Any recommendations? What did you use for cloth diapers?

- If you're talking of soiled diapers.. Go get a good plastic 5 gallon bucket with a tight fitting lid unless you like the aroma..in which case any bathroom floor will do.. ;)
- I just use a Rubbermaid garbage pail. I used to have one that had a foot pedal, but it broke. I'm just using a very basic garbage pail with pop-up lid now. I keep the pail in the bathroom closet. Back when I kept it in the nursery, I used tea tree oil and baking soda to keep it from smelling. I never had a problem with stink.
- I have a safety first diaper pale. It was like 10 bucks, and holds the smell in fine.
- i just use a plastic garbage can with a foot pedal and a garbage bag - i have no problem with odor - when i take the bag out for laundry i spray lysol in can just to make sure about odor and germs - but even w/o that still have no problem
- We use a Rubbermaid garbage can from Zellers. It has a black plastic removable interior and white exterior. I was just putting the diapers in the black plastic bin inside and carrying that down to the laundry, but after 11 months of that the plastic was starting to smell. So now I have a large size Bummis wet bag inside the bin and I wash it with the diapers. I used to put baking soda in the bin with the diapers to control odors, but now I put one drop of tea tree oil on a flannel square inside the bin. I also make sure the lid is open a little, the more air flow, the less your diaper pail will smell. I wash every three to four days!
