Diapers Q&A

Diaper Review-Hey all you thrifty moms out there -What are the best store brand or cheap diapers out there???

So far I have tried Target brand's Care Bear Diapers (they are pretty good) and I've tried Walmart's Parent's Choice Brand (they are OK) - What ones have you tried -plese list store names and what you thought of them - and tell which ones you like the best- As for the name brand I think Luvs are best cause they dont leak much - Huggies were awful when I tried them -they leaked really bad- and Pampers weren't that great either plus they're more expensive -I got a free sample of White Cloud's New diapers and they were real nice except I cant find them in the stores yet- I want to try Publix Diapers but haven't heard anyone else who's tried them-Please let me know your input.. You would think my baby girl was a diaper model as much as I've tried different ones for her!!!LOL!!!

  1. We use pampers. They are the only ones that are sons don't leak through of a night. As for the White Cloud brand you can purchase those at Wal Mart.
  2. I don't know where you live but I buy the "Kirkland" brand diapers from Costco (kinda like a Sam's club). I think they are actually made from huggies (but funny I don't like huggies) but honestly, no leaks they are great. size 3's you get like 185 for $29 and size 4's you get 164? I think for $29. I used to use luvs and they were ok but the kirklands work better and they're less, I can make a case last probably a month. I don't know if you breastfeed or formula but Kirkland formula is great too. I never had any luck with white cloud diapers, they leaked something awfull on my firt two babie, but they are usually available at WalMart. Good luck on your journey to the perfect diaper lol!
  3. Targets brand is the best I've tried so far.
  4. I wish my four kid's could have used does cheap one's. We tried it all to. The only thing i can say to you is huggies. It's exspensive but it gives you a bang for your buck. Good Luck in diaper searching. mom of four
  5. If you have a Walgreens around you, try their diaper, I really did like them. I can't think of the name. They were thicker than the name brands. Thankfully my wee one does well with generic diapers. We are now going through two cases of Parent's choice that her grandma bought for us.. I won't complain ;)
  6. Teddy's Choice in Superstores. They work for me just as good as pampers cruisers. Either way...those are great. If you are in Canada that's a good brand. Try Luvs if you are in the US
  7. well regular pampers suck, but I liked pampers swaddlers/cruisers the best, they stretched nicely without being too tight even though they cost a bit more and for my boy they were best. Huggies swelled up in the front easily and then leaked before the rest of the diaper even got a little wet. Pampers at least seemed to spread the wetness out evenly. Plus, I always got good coupons at the grocery store (albertsons) or through the mail. White cloud is the best as far as I've seen generic diapers go, they only sell them at wal mart. I don't know about paren'ts choice, but I do know to stay away from 'dri-bottoms', that is the super cheap one at wal mart. They feel wet from the outside when they're even a little bit full. Also, take a calculator with you when you go shopping, or use the one on your cell phone. The bigger packs aren't always the best buy. Take the price of the diapers minus any coupons you have and then divide by the number of diapers that come in it and judge per-diaper price. Of course, figure out what qualities suit your needs. Good luck! Also sign up at their websites for coupons.
  8. Huggies leaked for both of my children every time Luvs leaked horribly for my son White Cloud from Walmart is working out nicely on my daughter Pampers, they just work better, NO leaks
  9. i do luves they work for mee
  10. I get the ones from Family Dollar. I think the brand name is Ultra Soft Stretch. You can get White Cloud at either Walmart or Kmart, I forget which one it is.
  11. you know huggies are great try buying by bulk like cosco or same it will be cheaper tell me about it i had 2 kids in diapers at the same time with only one income try cosco or sams club if you are not member become one it will save you money in the long run
  12. I've tried them all and the only ones I like are "Little Tykes". Huggies and Pampers and Life, and all the other brands chaffe my baby, scratch her, blister her, leak, don't fit properly and make her cranky. Little Tykes are curved at the legs to fit nicely, the tabs are soft and don't scratch, they are pretty (little stars), they hold a lot of poop and pee if need be and they don't come apart or get damaged easily (as pampers and huggies do!). They are soft too. They are on sale here at the moment 'buy one get one free' it's great.
  13. for younger babies, luvs are the best possible, and they're less than $10. the wipes i prefer are huggies wipes. i never use huggies diapers anymore, they leak too much, but the luvs don't leak. they coulda used them in new orleans... when you get to pull ups, use pampers easy ups. they're the best fit, and they dont' leak. again, stay away from the huggies pull ups. we gotta get luvs to make a training pant... yeah, i did the baby diaper modeling thing too with my first born... but ok, luvs for diapers, pampers easy ups for training pants
  14. Well I'm in Canada, but for the US I heard Luvs are good. I used Equate here...
  15. if you have a Sams club go there these diapers are called smiles or something of that sort they are great i dont change my son while he sleeps and sometimes he gets like 3 bottles before morning so he is a bit wet when i get up to change him i could not believe it this diaper held alot of wee wee .my daughter 2 helped herself in the tub soak and wet diaper she got out and the diper was barly leaking it hold alot of liquid .i buy our diapers in bulk from sams club for 6 bags it cost 30 dollors and 6 bags last us almost 2 mths.
