Dogs and incontinence--any way to adapt baby diapers to lengthen them to fit a dog?
dog care Thanks for answering my question. Doggie diapers are very expensive, more than $1.50 each. Human diapers are much cheaper, but not long enough to cover his tinkler. So I duct taped two of them together and that works. He already is on a med similar to an Alzheimer's pill. Injury to his back and privates occurred when he was mauled by a rottweiler. Happened in just seconds, then three weeks later the same rottweiler attacked our second dog.

- Why not just buy the diapers they make specifically for dogs? That seems a whole lot easier...
- My cousin has a large dog and it wears diapers when she is on her period. Just cut a hole for the tail. Also adult diapers might fight better.
- Got over to PetSmart and buy some doggie diapers.
- Must have a male dog...because diapers fit perfectly on my little girl dog. They do make doggy diapers.
- you might try a senior diaper- like depends or somethig, they are larger in size????
- Adult diapers should help you out. Have you discussed with the vet a possible medication for your dog to deal with the incontinence?
