  3. Try a crisis center. Here's one in Mesa, but I know that's on the east side, so somewhat close to Gilbert: Child Crisis Center-East Valley, Inc. 604 W. 9th Street Mesa, Arizona 480-969-2308 kidsfirst@childcrisis.org Good luck!
  4. freecycle.org

  7. by working
  8. On freecycle: http://www.freecycle.org/group/United%20States/Arizona/Gilbert On craigslist: http://geo.craigslist.org/iso/us/az Free sample (one diaper in sizes 1,3, or 5) from Wal Mart's sample section: http://walmart.triaddigital.com/enhancedrendercontent_ektid20488.aspx Foodbanks usually have other things including diapers http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=food+bank+gilbert+arizona&fr=yfp-t-501-s&toggle=1&cop=mss&ei=UTF-8 There is a diaper bank in your area, I believe http://www.valleydiaperbank.org/index.htm. While you cannot contact them directly for diapers, they do donate to 'crisis nurseries, domestic violence shelters, food banks, head start programs, and congregations from a variety of religious affiliations.' just a few ideas for places to call around & ask, if they have a diaper program. Wic or food stamps don't cover dipes or have an official program for recieving them, otherwise that would've been the first link I gave.. In you have to, you can make cloth ones from items around the house (old sheets, recieving blankets, towels, shirts, etc.). Just bunch, fold & wrap them around bub. Hold them on with diaper pins - usually $.50 at the Dollar General - but hair ties work as well. If you can sew even a straight stitch, a free pattern to make your own using found items as well as instructions for use: http://www.fernandfaerie.com/frugaldiapering.html
  9. there is a diaper bank somewhere in the valley because i heard it being talked about again on the news so check out the news channels websites.
