Cloth vs Disposable diapers?
Hmm.. Here is a question for all the mom's out there. What is better Cloth or disposable diapers? I been doing some reading today about it. I'm still lost on what is better. If you have some info on this and have used Cloth and want to share how it was for you. I would love to hear it. Thanks for taking time to read this and answer.

- i really cant answer your quesyion but i do have an advice... you can use both... cloth during the daytime or when somebody can take care of the baby and monitor if he's wet or not, diapers during the night or outside your house so both you and your child can sleep soundly and you don't have to be cautious or concious whenever you're carrying your child... it's really hard to use diapers through out coz the baby might be allergic or may have rashes due to chemicals in the diaper and on the bacteria in his urine... and same thing with cloth which is a bit inconvenient
- Okay, I used both. With one child, it was great. I bought about 5-6 dozen. when they are small you can fold them up to fit. As they get bigger, you may need the diapers with extra padding in the center (for more liquids). I just changed him, rinsed out the diaper in the toilet (clean water please!) squeezed it out and put it in a diaper pail with some bleach and water. About every other day, dump the whole lot in the washer on the hottest setting with Dreft detergent (no alergies or irritation) The hardest part is the pinning. My husband was so good at changing his diaper that when I gave him a disposable one, he didn't know what to do. Also, put plastic underwear over the diaper so anyone holding baby doesnt get wet! Disposables are pretty self explainatory but if you are on a budget cloth is the way to go. Hope this helps!
- We use both, though I keep trying to do more cloth than anything else. (Last week threw me off -- we all got a stomach bug and cloth diapers don't get along with diarrea.) If you are thinking about cloth from a financial standpoint and intend to have 2 or more kids, it is totally worth it. Another poster mentioned having trouble with pinning . . . we use diapers that fit snuggly in the covers and the covers velcro shut. A friend of mine uses All in one diapers that snap closed. Other than cleaning them, All-in-ones make diapering just as easy as with disposibles. I would suggest getting a small number to try it out and see what you think.
