Diapers...?
I am not due until March but I am wanting to start stocking up on diapers now just to spread out the costs and want your opinions on which diapers to go with. I have had so many people tell me to but huggies because they are worth the extra money. What are your opinions? Thanks! buy not but!

- i like luvs are the best because they hold up better than any other diaper and there worth the money
- I LOVED pampers swadlers.(spell?) not the plain pampers they kinda suck, you have to get swadlers. I didnt like huggies, they never fit my son right. now that he is bigger I get pampers cruisers. when it comes to wipes though, always get huggies, pampers are really thin, and I tried the off brand thinking they would be fine, they sucked!!
- i like huggies because they won't leak pee
- I'm due in March, too. :) Cloth diapers are the best! They are easy, cheaper than disposables, better for the baby, and better for the environment. If you start buying them now you can have everything your child will ever need by the time he/she is born and you will save so much money. Don't buy the Gerber ones- order cloth diapers off the internet. The cheapest viable option is diaper service quality prefolds, and prorap covers, but there are lots of options.
- I tried all brands on my son and found Huggies Baby Fit worked best. You can always get coupons from the Sunday paper for them too, which makes them affordable. I think that diapers and their fit have more to do with the shape of your baby than the product, so I'd try all the brands until you find what works best for your baby. If a product leaks every time you use it, call the company and they will give you a refund almost 100% of the time. That's what I did until I foudn what worked. Also, for night time, Huggies Overnights are well worth the extra cash. Congrats!
- I know this probably won't help but don't buy too many- for my daughters I used pampers- so i had assumed stocking up on newborn & size 1... Turns out my son's bottom wasn't the same. he couldn't wear them...The rashes he would get... I tried Huggies-Luvs you name it.. Finally a no name brand- i was able to use...with success... so try either pampers or huggies... just like using different soaps on a baby..every baby is different Good luck
- just to add confirmation from a completely separate source, my experience w/my kids mirrors that of desi almost exactly. also, don't get a diaper genie. there is a newer product out now...scented blue diaper bags...put in the diaper and tie it shut...and it keeps the house from smelling. one last suggestion: get a jar of resinol to keep on hand in case diaper rash doesn't go away from ordinary creams. resinol saved us many-a-time.
- I know this is going to sound really weird but it seems to me that every diaper is different for every baby. My cousin told me she didn't use huggies because they always leaked when her daughter wore them. Huggies were the only diaper that didn't leak when my daughter wore them. I think it just depends on the child LOL. My daughter also modeled for Huggies so we will always be loyal to them and I am biased LOL!!! But really I agree with what you have been told. They are a good solid diaper. They are worth the extra money. And I learned real quick too if you go to Sam's Club or Costco you can buy something like 120 of them for $30 which is what you would pay for far less at Walmart. The price might have gone up a little in the past few years but that is what they used to cost. I work with children and have seen just about every type of diaper you could imagine...including cloth diapers (yes recently) I see everything from Parents Choice which is $5.77 a package here to Huggies,Pampers, Luvs etc. I think if your child does not have allergies it comes down to personal choice. You have to find what works best for you! Good luck!!!
- huggies or pampers. theyre about the same.
- I reccomend Cloth diapers... they are 80% cheaper... and jst as much work. they have so many new covers and liners and clips that make it just as convienent as disposables. Also in the 2-3 years your child will be in diapers they will produce over 2 tons of diapers! you will also be changing diapers approx. 80 times a week.... Spoil your self and get a diaper service to pick up the cloth diapers ... it's still cheaper then disposables! also educate your self on the downsides of disposables.. you will find out they aren;t so healthy for your baby ... babies in disposable diapers get more diaper rash then cloth diapered babies. I know everyone thinks of diposables as convienent... but cloth is so much cheaper and help promote a better future for your child.
- I used Huggies and plan to use them again
- One thing you could do is get on ebay and buy some coupons for diapers really cheap. With my son, I used a lot of Huggies and Pampers which I liked a lot since they were not as bulky. There are other brands of diapers out there, and you can pick out a few of each to try out. Remember if you don't like a certain brand (after the baby gets here) you can save your receipt and exchange them or just send them off with the babysitter to use. I myself am due in a month and have been stocking up on diapers, which I think is a good idea. I signed up with all the diaper companies so I could get coupons and I only purchase diapers if I have a coupon (keep an eye out for sales too). Mostly I have purchased Pampers or Huggies, but I have also bought some Luvs and White Cloud. I would advise getting a few of each brand and when the baby gets here you can decide which ones you really like. Either way, you will use them up quick and it might not matter which brand they are!!!
- Hey, To be honest with you......For the newborn, you should go with pampers swaddler's b/c it helps the umb. cord....As they get older, you will just have to try different types out, I know with my first one, she couldn't wear the expensive kinds because it WOULD NOT hold her pee...She would pee right through them so the next day, we use Parent's Choice on her and that was the best yet.....She still wears them.....With my youngest....It was pamper swaddler's.....Then we tried Parent's Choice on her and it would give her a diaper rash.........So I bought her Pampers.....When I run out of pampers and don't have really alot of money, I buy Luvs, and this time I bought Huggies only because I had a coupon for it.......I personally don't like Huggies!!! But every baby is different...So good luck!!!!
- I am due April 1st, and have been recently thinking about stocking up on diapers also. So, out of boredom/curiousity I googled cheap diapers, and diaper deals...I came across www.1800diapers.com, which seems like a it has a lot of good deals. They only sale mega/jumbo packs, but from what I have been comparing from Wal-Mart, Target, and Meijers...the prices are either better or just as good. They deliver diapers, wipes, formula and have free shipping and there isn't any sales tax. They have Pampers, Huggies, and other brands. I signed up, and when you do you can earn incentives...so if you sign up and use my referal code I will get a $1 credit, and you will get $2 off your first order. My Referal Coupon Code: ASIS8632 If you sign up I hope you use my code to help me out! Then you can pass on your code to others to so they can help you out. Best Wishes!!!
- Huggies were the best to use for us.
- Please read this I had seen it all!! My first daughter outgrew her diapers in her first month and I had to donate the ones I bought that were too small. My second stayed in size 1 diapers for a long time and never had a rash. My third daughter was born early unexpectedly and we had to buy preemie diapers. My fourth daughter had horrible rashes with every disposable diapers and we switched to cloth which is easier to use than you might think. My advise is to buy one or two packages of newborn diposable diapers in whatever brand (huggies is the best). Then, also it is crucial to have some cloth diapers too. Learn how to do the cloth diapers in case your baby gets the rash problem. If you don't end up using cloth diapers, they are excellent burp cloth for spit-up when you feed you baby and you shoud have them anyway. Good luck!!
