- Disposable diapers are so much easier. They may be a bit more costly, but it is such a smaller mess.
- i had four kids and only used disposable diapers. working full time, i simply did not have the time to even think about exploring the possibility of cloth. disposable was simply a matter of pure convenience.
- Disposable people forget about all of the laundry that must be done or you have to have a diaper service like you need any more hassle than you will already have. Plus the disposable ones are soooo absorbant which is great..
- Cloth diapers are better for your baby's skin, cost less, and when the baby outgrows the need, you have cleaning rags for fingerpaint on the walls, lol. Congratulations!
- Cloth nappies are fine if you have the time and space to soak and wash them hygienically. Unfortunately all my children suffered from genetic kidney and urinary tract infections. Disposable nappies were recommended by my doctor as they draw the moisture away from the vital bits. Good luck whichever you decide to use.
- We debated, when I was pregnant. My boyfriend's parents used cloth, my parents used disposable. In the end, we went with disposable. We love Pamper Baby Dry. Cloth is probably money saving, but if I had to give anyone advice, I'd say pay the extra for convenience.
- i think disposable diapers are much better. they are much more sanitary and much less work for the parents. i mean just think about this, you are out and about with your baby and the baby poops in his/her cloth diaper, now you have to carry this nasty dirty diaper around with you until you go home. OR you could buy disposable diapers and when that happens you just throw it away. if you want cloth diapers to save money, think about this, doesnt it cost just as much for cloth diapers if you add the washing machines energy and water, the soap to clean them, and also the time it takes you to clean all the diapers. disposable diapers are much better.
- I know disposable diapers are an easier way to deal with, plus they are more sanitary---you throw "everything" away!
- As per the dermotological advice, Cloth diapers are best if one is resident of hot Asian enviournment because disposable diapers cause sometimes itching and alergy problems to tender skin of baby.
- i used cloth diapers when my daughter was young. it was a little more effort than using disposables, but i stayed home with her so i had the time to wash them and such. i had no problems with them at all. it was more a matter of not wanting to use the disposables for me because of economic and waste factors. even after 16 years i still have a few that i use to polish my guitars and such.
- I used cloth diapers on both of my children except for when we went somewhere, neither ever had diaper rash.
- Unless you can afford a diaper service to come pick up the dirty ones and bring you fresh ones on a regular basis, I say disposable ones are the way to go. Cloth ones are messy, time consuming, not to mention not very sanitary (when they are waiting to be washed, etc...ewww). The main and only advantage I see to cloth diapers is that they are more enviromentally friendly. They make really good burp rags though...that's what I used for burp rags.
- i used disposable and cloth I like the cloth. If you have a diaper service in your area check into it it was a lot cheaper for me to do cloth they brought me a 100 folded clean diapers every week and took the dirty ones that they clean they provide the diaper pail and deodorizer for the pail. they also give you the covers so there is no pins needed and the covers are velcro just like a disposable diaper. The service charged me like 39.99 a month that is a lot cheaper than disposable and they make good burp cloths too.
