  1. Of course use diapers. What else could you do? Too young to potty train!
  2. What else are you gonna do? He's a little young to be toilet trained, so you don't have much choice besides keeping him in a diaper.
  3. Uh.....yeah! What have you been using the past nine months on the baby?
  4. Did you kidnap this baby? You are asking this about a 10 month old as though you just got it.
  5. Sure you can get them for adults too.
  6. Your question makes no sense at all, unless your baby was born potty trained.
  7. Man you need to buy a book on child care with a question like that!!!!!
  8. yes
  9. of course u can there is nothing else to use if u dont use diapers u will have alot of wet and dirty clothes and a ten mounth old is way to young to try and potty train
  10. babies use diapers up until they are old enough to be potty trained usually at around 24 months of age when they can understand what a potty is.
  11. yes of course u can use. but still when u r at home , u can avoid using & start training slowly. say once in two hours u can take him to toilet & encourage him/her to pass urine.
  12. what else would you do? wrap him in newspapers?lol
  13. yes just make sure u get the good brands like luvs or huggies and see how ur baby recacts to them...if they start to develop a rash it means u needa try another one!
  14. Of course.what else would you do??? If you have concerns of infection OR other problems...that leads me to think there may be an underlying problem. If there is you should definately take it up with your pediatrician.Otherwise...don't worry so much.Babies are really just little people...don't look for problems...you'll get enough of those. If he has reactions to to diapers themselves ...you'll need to buy cloth diapers. It's alot of work...but well worth it.Just be careful of those pins. P.S. IF you are unsure of your parenting skills or would just like some tips, most communities offer a class for new parents.Don't be discouraged because you are already a parent. This will only show just how dedicated you are.Besides, things do evolve over time.I've went more than once myself. Best of luck.
  15. I think maybe you're asking about the baby's skin health if he/she is in a diaper constantly. I always gave my kids some skin "breathing" time everyday (usually after I changed a poopy diaper) so they could just sit on one of their blankets and their skin could be exposed to the fresh air. Usually about 10 or 15 minutes. So what if the baby pees? Just wash the blanket. You can also use cloth diapers either occasionally or all the time if you're really worried about it. Most babies can't potty train till around 2 years. The earliest I've know was around a year and a half and many not until 2 1/2 or 3 years, so you've still got a while for your child to be in diapers.
  16. pls tell me you mean more than one diaper 24 hrs a day if so yes you can your kid will let you know when he/she is ready to try it in the real potty
  17. You could try potty training if you wanted, I guess. But at your child's age it would just be "hit-or-miss" since they won't be able to effectively potty on their own without several accidents until they are a bit older! I have heard a lot of people talk about "elimination communication" - which is pretty much getting to know your baby down to the bare bones - like when they "prefer" to potty and such. Unless you would let them run around un-diapered for a day or two, I don't know how you could ever find that out! But it may be something to look into if it is something you are concerned about. I have an 8 month old daughter and plan to potty train at the average age that other parents do. Although I may keep a little potty around earlier than that for her to get used to and interested in it being there(that won't be for a while of course, but I've thought of it). But I think parents with more experience than us have a pretty good idea of how to handle potty training and when is the best/easiest time to do it. I trust any advice my family gives me, or random people that have potty trained 1 or more kids! Your baby is not at an age where they could be effectively potty trained. Do not worry!
  18. that's too funny....like everyone else said..what the heck else would you use?! babies wear diapers until they are like 2 1/2 years old!! didn't you ever notice the different sizes and weights on the boxes when you buy them....is this for real?...and infections only settle in if you don't wash and wipe the bum correctly or change the diaper when it gets wet from #1 or #2..right away...and use baby vasaline on their bum so there isn't any rashes...
  19. hmmm u got me!!! thats what I thought all 10months used
  20. yes it is very common for a 10 month old to continue to wear diaper. i have found huggies work best for me but that is because i got used to using them. it all depends on what you get used to diapering with. it is not likely that your baby will get an infection if he is a boy, but change the baby regularly. a rash could develop if you don't, especially a poopy diaper. for a girl be sure not to get any fecal matter in the vaginal area so be sure to clean the bottom area well and wipe her bottom front to back. my guess is that you are babysitting or adopting or something like that? there are many life circumstances out there...
  21. I do elimination communication part time with my baby girl (I'd do it full time but I'm a working momma). Basically elimination communication (EC) is a way to take care of baby's elimination needs without using diapers. I started at 7 weeks of age with my baby. She now poops and pees in the potty on command, although having me go back to work has set us back a little bit. Anyway, EC is all about listening to your baby and communicating with him/her to discover when your baby needs to eliminate. It isn't that hard, it isn't that messy, and it is a good alternative to diapers. Most American babies are still in diapers at 10 months of age, but do know that potty training is possible at this age, as well. Most people aren't aware that there are alternatives to diapers out there.
  22. diapers are so much better.just change them more and use cream.
  23. That is one of the most ridiculous questions I have ever heard.
  24. CHILL!!! Eveyone . Although it was great fun reading your reactions. Let me explain what this poor thing might be wanting to ask. She probably is using cloth diapers that she changes every 15 minutes and wants to ask if she can change to HUGGIES or a brand that she would not have to change every 4 hours or so.
  25. Yes ,you can use diapers for a 10 mth old baby. Some babies develop skin rash after diaper use...observe if any....consult a paediatrician. Need to change the diaper every 2-3 hrs.
  26. So what has this baby been using before now? Or has he just been crapping all over the place?
