Cloth diapers--do stores sell them or do you have to order them online?
i've been shopping around for cloth diapers, the fitted / pocket / all-in-one types (not the just folded squares) but i can't seem to find any in stores. Are they sold in stores or can they only be found new online or used in the occassional 2nd hand store? thanks a bunch!! i was just at a Walmart supercenter last night and all they had were the flat rectangular cloth diapers, not the fitted ones like these: (just an example) http://www.bumgenius.com/one-size.php

- i know they sell some at walmart. i dont know about the other stuff. hope that helped a little.
- I've seen them in 2nd hand stores before. You could try ebay as well.
- I found them right at wal-mart. Or try baby-r-us
- I've seen some cloth diapers sold at Walmart.... you might find them at any major department store, also...
- Walmart sells the prefolded types, they are in the baby clothes section.
- Virtually all usable cloth diapers are made by work at home moms. While a few are sold in higher end stores, most have to be purchased online.
- You won't find anything worth using in stores. You can occasionally find them in second hand stores, but they don't last long! You can check out the diaper pin for product reviews, and they have a For Sale Or Trade board there. My friend has had good luck with the Diaper Pin FSOT forum. There's a website called Diaper Swappers, too, but I don't have a link. Kudos for using cloth! Try not to get addicted . . . yeah, they're that awesome. Yes, those Wal-Mart diapers aren't meant to be used as diapers. They're burp cloths. I'm a big fan of Chinese prefolds, but not Gerber brand. No way.
- I've only seen the flat rectangular ones in stores
- It really depends on where you live. You will have an easier time finding them in baby boutiques, which are abundant here in the Pacific Northwest, but scarce elsewhere. DO NOT buy department store diapers (walmart, sears, target etc...). They are terrible. I would try googling "cloth diapers + (where you live)" Otherwise i recommend babyworks.com or hyenacart.
- Babies r us sells Kushies. They say they are online only, but sometimes the local stores will still sell the "online only" items. Also, look in the phone book and see if there are any specialty baby stores around you or a diaper service that carries them.
