Pinkish spot on 3 month old baby's diaper...Should I be concerned?
Ok, I already went to the doctor because I thought it was blood, but the Dr. told me it was normal for the diapers to get those "spots" because of the urine and the gel and something about the ammonia in urine causes the gel to turn that color. But I haven't seen the spot daily, only once in a while (Like twice a month, and these past 3 days once a day) and I change my baby's diaper every 3 hours always.... Should I see another doctor, or should I trust that one?? (Forgot to say it's a Boy)

- i assume the baby is a girl if so it is normal the baby gets alot of hormones from mom and in baby girls they might bleed when those hormones start to drop nothing to worry about baby is fine
- That's scary! What if someone is sexually abusing her? You shouldn't leave her alone, not even with her father.
- has he been contstipated? does it look like blood? Is it always the same color and in the same spot? change the type of diaper you are using, if even just for a couple of days. Each one is different. I don't think I've had that happen to me, though...
- mmmmmmmmm...baby, the other, other white meat.
- Listen to your Doctor. If you are still doubting then keep the diaper with the spot so they can take a look at it and see if that is really it.
- this happened once with my son dr told me not to worry never happened again
- It may be "brick dust" which are crystals in the urine from being a little dehydrated. Google it and see if thats what it might be.
