How to keep the odor down - adult diapers?
I wear adult diapers, and I was wondering what are some tips for keeping the smell down? I don't want to be rude, and I don't always notice as much as other people. My girlfriend, has pointed out to me that I stink and should go change, when I don't smell anything.

- Keep clean. Use wet towelettes to freshen yourself up... and most of all change you diaper often!!! You are a brave soul for posting that question here!!!!
- You can either saturate your diaper with Lysol spray before putting it on (warning--this is what I do, and if you've recently shaved your butt, it'll sting...) or get one of those Oust pump sprayers (the kind you stick to the wall behind the toilet) and let out a spritz or two when someone complains about the odor.
- I wear diapers 24 / 7 but I am only unrinary incontinent and do not have bowel movements in my diapers. I do not have an odor problem. That being said, I have to assume that the odor is coming from having a BM in your diaper. If this is the case then you need to learn to change your diaper as soon as you can after having the BM. This is the best and really the only way to control odor short of not having the BM. Good luck.
