dog eats waste paper diapers,underwear anything nasty is there a solution to stop this?

its nasty and we have tried to spank and scold but nothing works. is there any thing that works?

2. Really theres not. Dogs arent interested in the taste. They are after the scent.If your dog is after items that bad you may have to just make sure he cant get to them. Spanking will not do the trick, it will only make him fear you. You can try a simple training tool used for puppies. When your dog has something you dont want him to have, Take it away with a stern "NO" and give him something he is allowed to play with or have.(a good toy) Use the same toy all the time.
3. Unfortunately, no. I used to have a german shepherd who ate all these things. If the item had been worn or used, he would pull it out of the dirty clothes or trash can. The only thing I found that solved the problem was to make sure that all the diapers and used feminine products were in an air tight trash container, and all dirty laundry in a hamper, out of his reach. My sheltie has been known to chew up panties as well. I don't know what it is that causes them to do this, but I haven't seen a dog yet that doesn't do it. As I said, the only solution is to keep these items out of their reach. Good luck!
4. My dog also gets into moods where he'll go after my panties and used feminine products. He also loves to eat my cat's poo out of the litter. You just have to keep your doors closed and bins covered, and when you catch him in the act you can do something, but after the fact it won't be effective.
