How many cloth diapers should I take on an outing? How many cloth diapers should I take with me while running errands, going to the store, and/or dining at a restaurant? I will be bringing along the diapers that will already have the insert in them ahead of time. Also, should I bring 1 regular diaper bag (for clean diapers, ointment, wipes) and 1 waterproof bag (for soiled)? Should I bring flushable/biodegradable liners, as well? Thank you! Forgot to add that I'm due with our first on April 11th. New to cloth diapering.
What do you think about reusable diapers? Did the savings override the pain of washing and cleaning the diapers by hand? We aren't planning on using a diaper cleaning service and think that disposable diapers are way too expensive, worthless, and bad for the environment. Would you recommend reusable diapers? Did you save a lot of money by using them? What kind do you recommend? Is it hard to learn how to fold the diapers?
How long was your baby in newborn diapers? I've been using the newborn diapers for 2 1/2 weeks now. It says on the package that it's up to 10 lbs and then the size 1 diapers says 8 - 15 lbs. When can I start using the size 1 diapers? It's just that I've got a lot of size 1 diapers and was just wondering how many more newborn diapers I'll need to buy. My baby is probably about 7lbs 5 oz now.
How do I get started using cloth diapers? I am considering cloth diapers but know nothing about using them. How many diapers will I need to start with for a newborn? What other accessory items will I need to start with? What is the initial cost? Is a diaper service necessary or is washing them yourself simple enough? Is there a brand or style of diaper you have had luck with? Any tips at all will be very much appreciated!
What are the best, easiest, most convenient cloth baby diapers? I am absolutely overwhelmed looking at the endless products available/necessary for cloth diapering! I used cloth diapers for my babies (many years ago) and there was basically 1 choice. You got a cloth diaper, plastic pants and diaper pins and you learned how to put it together. NOW - there are diaper "systems". How do you know what is needed, which is most convenient, and best for baby and new mother both? I am looking for a great product for my soon to arrive grandson. Thank you!
What kind of diaper creams are safe to use with cloth diapers? I have a cream that has shea butter, almond oil, olive and jojoba oils, and beeswax as ingredients. Will this be okay to use on my cloth diapers? Does anybody have any good suggestions on what you use and like?
How many diapers will an infant go through before potty trained? My daughter is expecting a baby girl in March, considering she's going to be a single mommy I'm trying to help by buying diapers, I'd like to supply her with at least a six month supply. I've already bought 2 packs of the tiny infant diapers, and I mean the BIG packs, I think that will be enough until the next stage, so far I have 6 packs of the next size. Do any of you have a better idea of how many diapers it will take the average baby to six months?? Thanks a lot!!
What are some cheaper brand diapers that are good for sensitive skin? My son has very sensitive skin and breaks out in diaper rashes a lot (even though I do change him frequently). So far Pampers, and Luvs all break him out. Huggies have gaps at the legs and he leaks through them. Seventh Generation work great, but we just can't afford them. Any suggestions of store brand diapers that work well, and are good for sensitive skin?
How many diapers do I change in one days time? I have two children in diapers. I spend $80 per month on diapers. There are 52 diapers in a package. Each package cost $10.00 I just want an actual average. My husband and I have bet as to how many diapers I change a day over the course of a year.
What kind of diapers and formula do you recommend? What kind of diapers and formula do you recommend, that isn't too terribly expensive? Or is the most expensive really the best way to go?

What diapers and wipes are best to buy for a baby with sensitive skin? My mother used cloth diapers. But they were cheaper at the time than they are now. And she had diaper service. There is no longer one in town. And the skin sensitivity is inherieted. What should I do?
Is there any way to get a prescription for a adult diapers? I have total bladder and bowel incontenence due to a minor spinal injury and wear adult diapers. Recently, I've been running short on money, and I couldn't possibly due without diapers. If I had a Prescription for the diapers, they would be covered in full. If I explain my situation to my doctor, will he prescribe me adult diapers?
What should I charge for Diaper Cakes and how many diapers? Alright, I have been trying to sell Diaper Cakes on Ebay and nobody seems to want to pay anything for them. They don't even offer what the diapers are worth. Anyone have an idea on what the perfect amount of diapers I should use and what to charge for it?

Where can I buy affordable disposable dog diapers? My dog is 17 and she needs diapers. Today I bought a pack of 12 disposable diapers for almost $17.00. She can't wear the washable diapers because they give her a rash. Please let me know if there is a place where I can buy doggie diapers for cheaper.
What is the best way to wash out cloth diapers so they smell clean and come out soft and white? I use cloth diapers on my baby and had no problem with washing the diapers and getting them clean. Now I can't seem to get them completely rinsed out without running them through the washer a couple times.
What do you use for liners with cloth diapers? Say your baby has a mild diaper rash... you want to use diaper cream, but cannot b/c it is advised against whilst using BumGenius cloth diapers. What do you use as a liner? I've been using cut up old t-shirts and I also bought some flushable liners, but the flushable liners feel rough like fabric softener sheets. I'm worried the cream will still seep through to the diaper.
How many diapers should I register for? We are going to have a diaper party (I am 8 months pregnant), and I want to register for diapers so that I don't wind up with 10 of one size and none of another size. What would be a good number of each size to register for so that I don't wind up with extras, and what sizes should I register for? Also, other than wipes & diaper cream, any diapering accessories I should be thinking about ? (First time mom here!) -Thanks!
what kind of diaper rash ointment can I use with cloth diapers? So far, my youngest hasn't broken out in a rash from wearing cloth diapers overnight with plastic pants. In case she does, I want to know what kind of diaper rash ointment to use. Is there a cheap brand that clears up rashes and won't ruin the diapers? I know Desetin isn't good for cloth diapers because it makes them stinky.
What does it mean when you buy a SECOND diaper when buying cloth diapers? Ive noticed that they are cheaper but what does it mean? Is there anything wrong with them, also any tips on getting a good price on cloth diapers. I need to buy some but don't have too much money to invest right now.
What brand of diapers do you think is best for a boy? I am due in 17 days and just wanted to see if anyone had any strong opinions on diaper brands that might be best for a baby boy. I have been told Pampers are best for a boy and then I was told Huggies - so I wanted to see what the majority vote was. I've been told to kind of stay away from generic brand diapers altogether - but if you have an opinion on that, please share! Thanks for your help!
What are the best brands for diapers and wipes in Canada? Right now I'm using Pampers Baby Dry diapers and Pampers Sensitive wipes. Both products are great but they also cost more than other brands. I'd like to find something cheaper, but I don't want to waste money trying every product on the market, so that's why I'm asking for what your experiences have been with other brands?? Are there any good generic or store brand diapers and wipes available in Canadian stores? So far I've only tried Walmart's Parents Choice brand and I found the diapers were too small and the wipes irritated my baby's skin. Has anyone tried Zellers' Truly brand, Shoppers Drug's Life brand, Loblaws' Teddys Choice, or any other store brands?
What is the difference between pamers regualr diapers and the Swaddlers? What are swaddlers? I am trying to figure out what swaddlers are and what the difference is between the regular papmers diapers & swaddlers?
Which brand of disposable diapers can cause a baby to have diaper rash more often? My 1 year old son seems to constantly have diaper rash. I have started using baby powder and letting his butt air out for about 30 minutes every day, and it has helped wonderfully. But I have read that the absorbent gel in the diapers can cause a rash. I just wanna know different opinions out there. Which brand can cause diaper rash the most and which brand can cause it the least. Also, which diapers have the least about of gel in them? Thanks!
When switching to cloth diapers, what are some must haves to accompany them? I am getting a few g diapers, fuzzi bunz, and BumGenius 3.0s. What else is great to have when using cloth diapers?
What did you do about the leg elastic on cloth diapers coming loose? I have bum genius diapers. The leg elastic is loose on 2 of the diapers. I have owned these a month and a half and followed all washing and care directions. I am going to call the company today to inquire about free replacement, but I was just wondering if anyone here has gone through this and what would be suggested.
How many diapers will a newborn go through? I'm 2 months away from having my baby and I've started stocking up on diapers. I have 4 packs of newborn diapers (40 count) It says for up to 10 pounds. So I figured that would be just right until he'll be over 10 pounds, but I really have no idea, I'd really like to know if I have too many and should exchange one or two packs for size 1's, I don't have a reciept, but I would only be exchanging them. Please let me know if I have too many diapers...

How many changes of diapers per day does an infant need? I'm having my first baby in December and trying to estimate the costs of raising a child. If you have a child under 1 year old, how much do you spend on diapers monthly? How many diapers on average do you change a day? Ballpark of other costs will also be appreciated! ;)
How many diapers come in a case of size 4 and size 5 Huggies diapers? Specifically, the cases from Costco, if you know - though all cases may hold the same number of diapers. I'm doing some diaper pricing.
Using cloth diapers- still leaking at night. What else can I do? Which are the best to use at night? I have tried the jam tots plush diaper, but it leaked within a few hours. Last night we used fuzzi bunz. It worked much better, with a hemp insert plus an extra insert on top, but somehow it seemed to leak out the side. Is there a certain diaper that is better to use at night? Or do cloth diapers tend to leak at night? We don't have any problems during the day. My son lays on his side at night, which I think contributes to the leaking. Thanks.
How do you effectively clean cloth diapers at home? I'm researching on whether cloth or disposable diapers are more cost efficient. For now I figure I will use the cloth diapers at home, and the disposable diapers when we're out, to keep from having 2 transport used diapers. My only question insofar with the cloth diaper is how to effectively clean it at home. Common sense tells me that soaking the diaper before throwing it in the wash is probably a good idea, but are there any special types of solvent I will be needing, or a special type of pail (w/ a lid) to keep odors at bay? I know u are supposed to swish the diaper in the toilet first, but are there any cleansers that are especially effective, and any that I should stay away from (harmful to baby)?
how long does a package of 56 diapers last? I'm trying to figure out some math, so for all you Mothers and Fathers out there, I have a question for you. :) I'm about to be a Mom as of September 15th and was wondering for the parents who have NEWBORNS how long does a package of diapers (containing 56 diapers within the pack) last you? How many times per month do you have to go shopping for diapers? What brands are the best? Do you buy wipes and changing pads with that? How much all in all do you spend per time when you go out and buy those things/how long do they last? Estimated guess?
What does everyone think about cloth diapers? I am in my third trimester with my 3rd child and we have ALWAYS used Pampers--but we just got my youngest potty trained and I really don't want to start buyng diapers again every week. Is it hard to use cloth diapers? Is it hard to keep them clean? Good and bad experiences are appreciated! Thanks!
How do I get my daughter to not wear diapers at night? My three year old daughter has been potty trained for quite some time now. However, she still cannot stay dry through the night. She even goes potty right before bed. We leave a night light in the hallway and the bathroom. I told that if she wakes up and has to go, she can.We have tried to go with the underwear , but she ends up wet. So she is still wearing diapers at night. How can we get her to learn to stay dry?
How do cloth diapers work and what do i need to buy? i want to use cloth diapers on my lil one when they are born but i dont know which are best to get and what exactly to get. I understand you need to buy the prefold and the outer waterproof part..can someone describe to me how this works. Also how many for each baby stage do i need...ie: new born etc etc
How much a week do you usually spend on diapers? I'm expecting a baby in early September and my husband and I are trying to figure out expenses and all that. How much on average is average to spend on diapers per week? (depending on brand I know price varies). Those with experience would be better to answer. Thank you.
where can I donate diapers for adults in Chicago IL. my Mom left several boxes of new packed? diapers .I do not want to give to those places who sell them..I want to donate where some one needy can use it. please let me know.I also have some other stuff for elderly.
How can you be a babyfur/get diapers without your parents knowing? I need to know how to be a babyfur and how to get diapers without my parents knowing. My waist size is 40 inches. Please do not answer with comments or questions on why I would want to be a babyfur and wear diapers. I need answers. So how can this be achieved? I live a block away from both Albertson's and Ralph's and I have a bike. Also I have no treehouse, we have a pool in our backyard.
What diaper pail do you use for cloth diapers? I have been cloth diapering exclusively for 8 months. I use a blue and white Cosco diaper pail with a cloth liner inside. This worked great when his diapers were smaller, but now the pail fills up long before I'm ready to wash diapers. I know many families use a 13 gallon garbage can, but will this keep in odor? What diaper pails do you use? I'm concerned that diaper pails intended for paper diapers will have too small an opening for my diapers. Also, I do not want to have to use any type of disposable liner or bag for the diaper pail.
Are there are dog diapers designed to catching feces and urine? i am looking to find a product for my aging lab. he is becoming incontinent and it looks like we will need to put him down, or we need find some dog diapers that are able to catch his mess. Any suggestions?
What ultimately does more harm to the environment, disposable or cloth diapers? As we all know, disposables create non-biodegradable waste. But I'm finding that cloth diapers require lots and lots of hot water for their very frequent loads of laundry. Hot water not only uses up our diminishing water supply, but also energy to heat the water. Thoughts?
How many diapers will I use for twins? Say, maybe, in a week? My son is 4 and I dont remember what he used or else I could just double that number lol. I think I am going to try cloth diapers so I need to know how many to buy. I will be posting another question about cloth diapers too, so if you have any knowledge please answer that too.
What do you do with the wipes when using cloth diapers? Yes, this is going to sound incredibly naive. I have a 4 1/2 month daughter and am finding the cost of disposable diapers pushing the high end of my budget (surprise, I know). I'm having an increasingly harder time talking myself out of cloth diapering, at least at home, but then what would I do with the (non-flushable) wipes? Would a regular, small step-open garbage can be enough to quell the odor if changed regularly? I have a Diaper Genie II at the moment but the thought of pushing dirty wipes down into that aren't really exciting.
If you use cloth diapers, does your baby wear a bigger size because of bulk? I guess it might depend somewhat on what type of cloth diapers you're using? Anyway, I'm about to buy some prefolds + covers, and also some pocket type diapers, and was curious about how much bulk there is going to be, like in a onesie. Will my baby need to wear a bigger size, since I'm guessing clothes aren't usually cut to allow room for cloth diapers anymore?
What is the best brand of all in one cloth diapers? I tried the bumpkins for my son. I gave up & switched to disposables because he kept getting diaper rashes. We are expecting another baby in Oct. & would like to try the cloth diapers again. I need to know from experience which brand has the best absorbancy & holds up well in the washer & dryer. I'm considering Fuzzi Bunz or Bum Genius. These diapers are expensive & I want to purchase the right kind this time. I hope someone can help..
whats the most efficient and cheapest way to wash AIO cloth diapers? we are planning on using cloth diapers but the AIO's we got from Bum genius have a very tedious way of washing them. is there any other way besides: soak, rinse, wash, wash, dry. that seems like a lot of extra work and it would raise our water bill quite a bit.
How many people do you know that wear diapers to school? Hey, my daughter Spina Bifida, and wears diapers to school, today me and wife went to the school to talk to the Prinicipal, nice lady, very open, and she says that my daughter is not the only girl in school if it. I know that her cousin has it and there in the same class. Anyway no alot of people at a school who wear diapers?
diapers...? do diapers expire/go bad? the reason im asking .. i went to walmart the other day and picked up some diapers and i believe they were huggies supreme? (i normally get pampers crusiers) but i brought them home, and i gave my son a bath and went to put one on him, and realized i could feel something in them, it was almost like crunchy sounding? but i went ahead and put it on him because we had no other diapers in the house, nothing really seemed different, but i had daddy take them back and return them and get pampers again. has anyone ever noticed that? were the diapers "bad" ? or were they okay to use?!
Diapers!!!!!!!!!!!? Every morning....every morning my daughter is laying in a puddle of pee with a diaper that weighs as much as a brick! She still gets up every three hours but each time her diaper is dry...it must be that last 3hours of sleep she gets befre she wakes up for the day! Shesh, any good diapers out there? ....ahhh huh. well for xmas my mother gave us about 400huggies size 3diapers. so now im stuck with size 3 diapers on an 18lb baby. oh my gooodness
Diapers.....? I have been getting A LOT of packages of new born diapers as gifts, and I was just wondering about how many packages of newborn diapers did you go through before your baby moved up to stage 1? I wouldn't think that many, and it would depend on her size at birth, (the doctor said she'll probably be around 7 1/2 pounds at birth if that makes any difference) but I was just curious? .. and also, what brand have you found out to work the best?
diapers!!?? i found diapers in my house and nobody in my house uses diapers. i never bought them and neither could my daughter and there's only my son left. it's scaring me thinking that he bought them and uses them! what should i do?
Diapers...? I am not due until March but I am wanting to start stocking up on diapers now just to spread out the costs and want your opinions on which diapers to go with. Diapers.....? My 4 1/2 month old daughter is sleeping on her belly every night now. Every morning I have to change her sheets and everything because they are wet. She sleeps 10-12 hours a night. Is there a better diaper that absorbs better in the front that I should try? I use Huggies now and I'm tired of everything being soaked every morning. Thanks in advance!!! I just bought a size 3 instead of a two and I put them pretty tight. When I put her diaper on I pull on he waist to make sure its tight. When I can't overlap the tabs anymore I go to the next size.
diapers...? What is the main difference between the Pampers Swaddlers and Pampers baby dry? To me, the only difference is the swaddlers is white with the chracters and baby dry has chracters all over. But what about the actual diaper and holding the pee and poop? I mean, the baby dry seems a little thinner, I am not sure. Anyone know?
Diapers?...........? Huggies or Luvs. which is better for a high energy 2 yr old boy?

Diaper sizing - help needed on how to buy diapers please!? My son is 12 and I now have another one on the way. I have been stockpiling diapers and things so I won't need to run out and buy stuff after the baby gets here. I have a pack of newborns, two packs of ones (approx. 94 diapers), six packs of twos (approx. 312 diapers), and lots of threes (approx. 388). I know it sounds like I have gone diaper crazy, but I just want to be stocked up and I keep getting coupons (mostly Pampers and Huggies - which I loved with my son - they worked the best to me). So anyway I have some more coupons due to expire soon and I was wondering what size diapers I should buy??? How long do diapers last??? Do they ever "go bad?" It has been so long since my son was little I truly forget. Plus when I had him it was a day to day thing buying diapers. Now I am a little better off and I want to be prepared. Any advice???
I see diapers for elementary schoolchildren in Japan. Isn't that ridiculous? For the brands "Goon" (グーン) and "Moonyman" (ムーニーマン), I saw packages that said "SUPER BIG" (スーパービッグ) and "18-35 kg" on them. I got out a calculator and multiplied them by 2.2 to convert them to pounds. The weight range for these diapers were 39.6 - 77 lbs! I think I weighed 77 pounds in 4th grade! More than that, both the boys' and girls' Moonyman packages each show three children aged about 6-9 years old! What's the matter here? Why do Japanese families not seem to mind putting off potty training? Also, many kids in America still abhor going back into diapers once they're in elementary school. Why don't Japanese kids mind so much? (I wish I could upload pictures of the packages of these oversized diapers but there's no way. You can search for them if you know how.) Don't you think something's wrong here? That keeping kids in diapers after starting kindergarten is ridiculous? I wonder how badly kids get picked on in Japanese schools if a classmate spots a diaper on them at recess.
Goodnites/Pullups--Diapers?? What is your opinion, are they the same? This is just a friendly question that I have to ask, what is your opinion on goodnites/pullup and diapers? Are they the same thing or do you think they are different? My opinion is they are all diapers. The all have the same absorbant material to absorb urine, the only difference is how they are applied, tape tabs or all-in-one elastic waist. I am asking becuase I have seen and also answered some questions that some people are so against having a child in "Diapers" but "Pullups" or "Goodnites"are okay. Now I know what most will say that diapers are associated with babies and pullups and goodnites are more for older children but at the end of the day they are all diapers, either tape on diapers or pullup diapers. Again this is just a friendly question, please don't go analysing and making all kinds of judgements on answers, I just think its ironic that some think diapers for anyone past 3 is just wrong but a pullup type diaper (goodnites included) is just fine. Thanks
Diapers, Diapers, Diapers? Diaper shopping used to be so easy they only had sizes 1, 2, 3 and maybe 4s. You would think a mom to 4 all ready would be confident when it came to diaper shopping NOPE! Since my son is finally potty trained I decided I would take the money I was using for his diapers and start getting diapers for the new baby due in Oct. I'm standing in the diaper aisle and literally I started tearing up looking at all the brands, different sizes and stages. Sizes have overlapping weights and different brands have different sizes. FYI: I used pampers with my son and Luvs with my daughters. I really like the stretchy sides of the pampers as he seemed to stay in 1 size longer and they didn't leak like Luvs did on him but I'm open to suggestions. Also my kids have all been fairly small at birth 5 lbs 2 oz, 6 lbs 4 oz, 7 lbs even, and 5 lbs 14 oz. What sizes should I buy and about how many? Should I get some preemie ones or not bother? what brands do you perfer and why? Thanks!
Response to Why make a big deal of diapers.....? There has been many studies of infertility of males using disposable diapers. It has not been a proven fact that it causes infertility. I have read on that subject. Anyway my original post was not intended for everyone to go out and buy diapers and wear them. What I am saying is that there are alot of kids past the todler stage that wet the bed or pants and need protection. I did when I was a kid. I was put in diapers. Just because they have on a diaper doesnt mean they are a baby. Thats why they make diapers for adults. It will only humiliate a child for wearing diapers if you let it or you are the one making diaper/baby references. When I was put back in diapers, I was told that many kids wear them to protect them at nite and that they are not just for babies. Diapers can be pulled off and on just like pull ups once applied. I did it as a kid. Like I said, pull ups are diapers, one uses tape tabs and one has elastic sides. My father in law works for Kimberly Clark and he says that the diapers and pullups are made with the same fluff, just that diapers are a little bit thicker and absorb more. To me it doesnt matter if its a "pull up" or a "diaper" they both serve the same purpose, its just that society has made a big deal out of kids past 3 in diapers. And yes I have read where other cultures are diaperless or having kids potty trained at or before one year of age, but they do not have debt up to their eyebrows and have to have a two incomes in the household. Look at China, I have read articles where they have kids in diapers up to age 7. Like I said before, its a diaper not the plauge.
Disposable Diapers? Which disposable diapers do you feel are the best for the baby and are somewhat earth friendly. I have heard of chlorine free diapers and cotton filled instead of gel filled diapers. I have been to both stores in my areas and have not found anything but Huggies, Pampers, Luvs and Parents Choice. They don't seem to have anthing like what I mentioned above. Is there any other diaper out there that is disposable that is better for baby and planet than the 4 above that I mentioned. You can give your opinion on the whole cloth verses disposable diaper, but I would like some honest opinions on the disposable diaper and info on any kind of biodegradable earth friendly type disposable. Thank you.
Cloth Diapers? Can you help me out PLEASE? I just got some cloth diapers yesterday from a nonprofit group who lends cloth diapers to those who want to use it, but cant afford the upfront cost! Heres the deal, i have NO clue how to use these diapers! I've got some all in ones (AIO) and fitted, and i've got the extra pad to go in the diaper, covers, and wipes. They gave some kushies? which seem like it's all in one, but to me, it looks like if i put it on my son, and he takes a #2, it will go all over the place! I am totally lost, as i didnt get any instructions, other then how to wash! I am no dummy, but im just overwhemled whith these! With the AIO's, do i put the pad inside, so it is not directly touching my son, or is that what goes up against his skin? (there is a pocket in the diaper) But some pictures i've seen, it shows the pad as touching the skin! OK, if your lost now, i am too! Does anyone have any sites that help new cloth diaper uses how to use these, other then put them on the baby!? If you use cloth, what are some tricks that you use? Do they leak? How often do you wash them? Any comments in regards to their use would be more then helpful right now. EDIT: And when i asked how often do you wash them, obviously when they are dirty, but do you wait till most are dirty? Wash them with normal wash? Or just diapers?

Diaper Review-Hey all you thrifty moms out there -What are the best store brand or cheap diapers out there??? So far I have tried Target brand's Care Bear Diapers (they are pretty good) and I've tried Walmart's Parent's Choice Brand (they are OK) - What ones have you tried -plese list store names and what you thought of them - and tell which ones you like the best- As for the name brand I think Luvs are best cause they dont leak much - Huggies were awful when I tried them -they leaked really bad- and Pampers weren't that great either plus they're more expensive -I got a free sample of White Cloud's New diapers and they were real nice except I cant find them in the stores yet- I want to try Publix Diapers but haven't heard anyone else who's tried them-Please let me know your input.. You would think my baby girl was a diaper model as much as I've tried different ones for her!!!LOL!!!
Why does everone make such a big deal about diapers? I used to wet the bed as a child until age 9. I went to the doctor and the diagnosis was my bladder was not mature. So the remedy was diapers, i wore cloth as an infant but back then pull ups were not available, but disposable diapers were. So when the decision was made, i was put in disposable diapers until age 9. We didnt make a big deal out of it, it was a solution a problem. Now days all I ever read is OMG dont put him back in diapers use pull ups or goodnites. People please. Pull ups and good nites are diapers. The just dont get put on with tape tabs. The absorb pee, just like a diaper, they are made with the same material, just like a diaper. THEY ARE DIAPERS. So what if a 4 or 5 year old is still in diapers, who cares. Society has made wearing diaper such a bad thing. Its plastic under wear. If I had to I would wear a diaper every day. Since people do make a big deal of diapers, i just might wear diaper just because i can and want to. Its a diaper not the plauge.
Diapers too thin...? My 5 month old recently moved up to size 3 diapers. I have always put her in Huggies Supreme diapers, it seems that the size 3 diapers a alot thinner than the prior sizes. Everynight she overflows her diaper. It doesn't matter if i change her at 1am an the again at 7 am which I have to wake her up to do they still overflow. Any suggestions in thicker diapers? I do like the Huggies diapers. I have tried the other snug and dry they are also very thin. I've tried the Luv's and White Cloud they are also too thin. I might try the over night or the Pampers. Are the Pampers thicker or is it just a better fit? The Huggies fit well it's just they are too thin..
Affordable, quality cloth diapers? - Cloth diapering moms only please!? My baby is due in a couple months and I just discovered how cool "new" cloth diapers are! They come in the cutest fabric, I even saw some made of velour! They close with velcro and snaps, some don't even need covers! Who ever thought I could get so excited over cloth diapers? Even my boyfriend is impressed. The ones online are so much cooler than the ones in the store. I've heard the only thing the store bought ones are good for is dusting. But unfortunately they're REALLY expensive! At least for this low income mama. I know I would save money in the long run by using cloth diapers instead of disposables, but just don't have the kind of money it takes to buy a couple dozen good cloth diapers. What's a mama to do? How can I afford to diaper my baby in the awesome cloth diapers? Do any sites that sell them have discounts for poor mamas? I've seen some cheap ones, but I'm nervous buying real cheap ones. I'm afraid they might be cheap quality like the store ones. Suggestions? I don't sew, I wish I could learn- but I don't even know anybody with a sewing machine. I saw those fuzzy bunz, Bugsy- But seriously, have you done the math? It's about $400.00 to get two dozen of those suckers. That's not even including shipping! That's more than my car cost! Shoot maybe I should sell it for diapers!?

cloth or disposable diapers? moms, i would like to start a debate right here (tada) in this question about diapers. just a few facts, did you know that disposiable diapers are not ment to hold the poop in the trash, you are suppose to shake it off in the toilet jsut like a cloth diaper; reason; because the poop ends up in our land fills and poultes the ground with human pathogens and increasing the risk of the spread of disease. also, it take 500 years for a disposible diaper to biodegrate and 18-23 billion are thrown away each year. in time for the first years of diapers to biodegrate, 8,500,000,000,000-11,000,000,000,000 will be degrating still. we all know that diapers wernt around for 500 years and that they wont be for much longer, but could you imagine??? please just post opnions, not hate. as for me, i use old fashioned cloth diapers and covers. they work just fine for us. i use chemical free detergent adn viniger to wash, it only takes 20 minutes to dry them and about 60 to wash them. i only wash one... load every other day and it take no effort to fold, its harder to hang shirts, IMO..... hahahah, dont you like how there are sooo many 0's in the second number that the computer just put ...... after it!!!! there were 12 of them.... haha, to CK. your right, we need golf.......ya know, more than our planet. giggle~~~ winnie, you have never tried them, i assume, because i thought the same thing but they are so easy to use, if not easier, you dont put poo in your washing machine and that is why i expalined that you dont use a lot of extra enengy because you only really have to do it every other day and a lot of peeps hang dry. can you believe that the first disposiable was made in 1942, and was make to only hold one wetting??? aww, i would never bleach a diaper, thats why you had rashes, thats crazy!! ahhhhhh! sun dry to get stains out silly!
Are seventh generation diapers any good? I am currently pregnant with twin girls, & I am due in two weeks EXACTLY! Thier daddy has sensative skin & I had to switch to the BABY detergent from Seventh Gen for his skin BEFORE I knew I was pregnant. With this in mind, I am assuming my babies are going to have sensative skin like thier daddy, & I hear about diaper rash from all the brands of disposable diapers from my friends who have kids. I don't have the time for cloth diapers & the nanny probally wouldn't use them anyway when I am at work...so I was looking at Seventh Generation since they say that they are chlorine free & soft, but what does that mean? HOW are they any different than Wal-Mart's white cloud brand of diapers? I mean a diaper is a diaper right? I am a first time mom & at my shower I was given a box of Luv's, Huggies, Pampers, & Seventh Gen!! It was like everybody had thier diaper favorite! So which would be best with sensative hinees for two little baby girls???
Cloth Diapers and Twins? My best friend is pregnant with twins. She recently started looking at cloth diapers to save her money compared to disposables. Please let me know if cloth diapers with twins is the most economical over disposables - by economical I mean in both time and money (diapers, water, soap, electricity, covers, etc.) We do not have any services in town or even nearby to consider. Also, what would she need to start out? How much would it cost up front? How long does an average diaper last before it needs replaced? Do cloth diapers fit all sizes? With twins they'll probaby be smaller than average. And any other info you think might help. Mind you I don't care if she wants to use disposables or cloth - I just want more information from people that actually use them. Thanks in advance. We live in Illinois (no, not Chicago) - so she could line dry in the summer.
Wet Diapers? I have a six month old and i use cloth diapers for her...I have like 8 to 12 wet diapers during the day and one heavy disposable diaper during the night..My question is since iam using cloth diapers , i have to change her every time she Pees...So is she getting enough..I heard that we must have 6 to 8 wet heavy diapers (disposable) Also her poop is always dark green in color..is there anything wrong?
Are nighttime diapers worth the money? I have heard some moms say they use a special brand of diapers for the nighttime. I however cannot find these diapers, unless the moms are talking about Goodnights, which I thought were for potty training and bed wetting. My son is 9 months old and RARELY sleeps through the night, one problem is that his diaper is usually like a wet cement bag on his bottom so I end up changing him at least 2 times a night. I'm not sure if these diapers would help, I use Huggies and they do hold quite a bit but if I could eliminate one of those 2 diaper changes a night he may sleep a little better. So, are there nighttime diapers that hold more? If so, what are they called? Are they worth the extra money? My son wakes up, wriggles, tosses and turns until I change his diaper, then he usually will fall back to sleep. So not changing a wet diaper at nighttime is not an option for me.
Environment-friendly diapers? What are my alternatives??? I'm about to have a baby in a few months and I'm very concerned about the diaper situation. I find disposable diaper usage almost ludicrous, and I cringe at the idea of how many diapers contribute to polluting our environment on a DAILY basis. However, I know people who tried the reusable cloth diaper approach, and they told me it was just too hard and time-consuming to keep up (not to mention messy), so they ended up buying regular diapers instead. What can I do to avoid falling into this trap? Any biodegradable diapers out there that won't put a huge dent on my budget? What other environment-friendly, cost-effective, REALISTIC alternatives do I have???
Disposable Diapers or Cloth Diapers or a Combination? My wife and I are trying to have a baby and the discussion of diapers came up. With the extrordinary expense and the sheer waste of "plastic" diapers we have talked about going back to rewashable cloth diapers and using "plastic" diapers only in an emergency or if we are traveling... what do you all think?
Cloth diapering: using prefolds with pocket diapers? I'm pregnant with my 3rd child, considering the switch to cloth diapers. First two kids were well over 8lbs at birth, long and skinny whole life, 3rd kid will probably follow suit, if that affects what products you recommend. I've just about decided on BumGenius One-size 3.0, but I'm wondering why the inserts for any pocket diapers HAVE to go inside the pocket? Why can't you just put the insert (or a prefold folded in thirds) on top? We've done this with disposable doublers with disposable diapers before with success, but just for overnight wetting on older babies. It would seem to me that the absorbency would be where you need it, any stains would be on the insert and not the diaper itself, and it would make laundering easier since you wouldn't have to separate them to wash and dry and then put them back together. Does it move too much that way? More likely to leak? I can't be the first person to have thought of this, so there must be a reason this method isn't publicized.
Which cloth diapers are best and where to buy them? My daughter is very small still, even though she's 2 months old and most cloth diapers I've seen are big. She has such sensitive skin, I'd really like to start using cloth diapers. I've been using Huggies Supreme Newborn Care diapers and they are nice, they don't have that plastic feel that most other diapers do. I'm moving in a week and I'm going to have a brand new washer and dryer (I live in an apartment currently and don't have my own), so that gives me even more of a reason to start cloth diapers. I've been considering gDiapers, they are kind of like disposible cloth diapers. Can you guys recommend any better ones?
Cloth diapers? What are the different parts to it? I am expecting a little one soon and am trying to make up my mind about cloth diapers .vs. disposable diapers.I am not getting enough info about how the cloth diapers work. I cannot afford a diaper service and will have to do the washing myself. Are there any liners etc thatI need to buy with the cloth diapers? How does the system work?
Cloth Diapering: What do you do with dirty diapers when you're away from home? I am hoping to use cloth diapers with #1 (Fuzzi Bunz or the like) but I'm not sure how exactly that works when you're out & about (shopping, visiting grandma, Dr. appointments, etc.) and the baby needs to be changed. Do you just carry a smelly diaper in the diaper bag until you get home? Cuz...ew. Advice please, from moms who have done cloth diapering? "Use Disposables" does not answer my question. I want to know what you might do with the CLOTH ones. I know how to use disposable diapers, lol!
g diapers...what do you think? I finally decided to go with g diapers. I wanted to know from other mommies what their experience has been with them. Do you like them? Are they a pain? Do they work well? Blow out diapers? I was using Pampers Swaddlers, but now that my baby is in a size 3 he can't wear them (they don't make them after a size 2). I tried the better for the environment diapers at Target (I forget the brand) and I didn't like them at all. I was going to get Seventh Generation diapers, but I decided g diapers sounded WAY better. Hopefully I made the right choice! Thanks in the advance for the info!!
Diapers that don'e leak at night? My son (6 1/2 months) is in size 3 diapers. We use the White Cloud brand from walmart & LOVE them.. until recently they have started leaking at night. I'm not sure why unless he is just consuming more liquids & 'producing' more liquids. They use to last all night long (8pm to about 7 or 7:30 am). He wakes up around 3 or 4 am & gets a bottle, then goes back to bed. His pjs haven't been wet when he gets up with a bottle it's always when he wakes up for the day. He has also recently started sleeping on his tummy which I think may be part of why it is leaking out. The other night I even changed his diaper when he got a bottle (which was a nightmare because he just cried the whole time, he did not like being messed with while half asleep) & it still leaked. We have not had a problem with the diapers leaking during the day at all. Can anyone suggest a different diaper for him to wear during the night that works for you. I want to continue to use white cloud for the day since they are cheaper! I bought some size 4 diapers the other night and he leaked through it too.. so a larger size didn't work! He's a big boy 20 lbs at his 6 month check up!
Stripping cloth diapers? Ok, talk to me about cloth diaper stripping? Any helpful sites? Signs that my diapers need stripping? I keep seeing people talk about stripping cloth diapers and am wondering if I am doing anything wrong as I have never "stripped" my diapers. I don't have any problems with my diapers but am wondering if maybe I am missing something? Lol, not changing. As I am not a new mom, it is not new to me. Please, if you do not know anything about cloth diapers and diaper stripping......don't bother to answer. No matter how tempting those 2 points are! :)
I heard diapers are sometimes toxic am I going to get ill? I finally worked up the nerve to purchase some diapers that I sometimes like to put on when I am sitting at the computer or lying in bed and use them. But after I am finished going to the bathroom in them sometimes I have lots of contact with the inside of the diaper. Can the toxic chemicals be absorbed though the skin as well as the mouth? Its not often a used diaper comes in contact with my face or mouth but sometimes I get carried away. I think the diapers I purchased are somewhat toxic they are not cloth diapers they the real things. I already know how to keep this a secret from my parents and peers and I am not worried about getting sick besides the toxic chemicals because I used to pee and poop my pants and then do the same thing with them. So its only the toxic chemicals I am worried about. I don't often taste the bm only the pee but if I do taste either I never eat or drink.
Washing cloth diapers? I am new to cloth diapering and have just started to wash my diapers. Here is how I've been washing them: Cold wash with 1/3 cup baking soda Hot wash/Cold rinse with 1/3 cup baking soda and All free and clear w/ half of recommended detergent Cold rinse w/ downy ball half full of vinegar Cold rinse again to remove vinegar smell. How many times do I wash them this way? Is it ever ok to just wash them on hotwash/cold rinse with half of detergent and vinegar? Is it common for cloth diapers to create lint balls when you first start washing them and does this ever stop? Also how do you know when you need to strip your diapers? Like I said I'm totally new to cloth diapers and want to make sure I wash them right so I get the maximum absorbancy and softness.
Whats wrong with diapers anyway..? Why is it that so many people are against older children using diapers, if a 3 yr old or a 4 yr old feals they would rather use a diaper than a toilet why not let him, why does everyone think diapers are so bad. they can grow up when there ready and letting them use a diaper doesnt stop them growing up anyway... Its just a diaper i dont get it.. Everyone seems to think that if they wear a diaper they will remain an infant.. I dont see elderly people walking around acting like babies..
Overnight diapers? Now that my son is sleeping 12hrs at night and on his belly, he pees through his diaper everynight. Is there an overnight diaper for my 5 month old son, wearing size 3 diapers. I just feel like they aren't high enough on him cause it just seems to come out the top. Tonight I actually stuck a pantyliner to the inside top of his diaper to try and prevent anything from leaking out. I just found some...Huggies Overnites...I didn't realize they came as small as size 3
Brothers Diapers? I am a 16 year old boy and my little 12 year old brother named Alex wets the bed so he wears goodnites to bed. But he also wets his pants during the day so he wears diapers all the time. I also wet the bed to but I don't wear diapers because I am to afraid to ask my parents to buy me some. So when I wet the bed I just clean my sheets and my parents don't see them. But I'm getting tired of cleaning almost every morning so I was thinking of taking some of my brothers diapers to wear to bed. Do any of you people think that it is wrong to take my little brothers diapers when I also have a wetting problem?
Best Diapers? I am 22 weeks pregnant and I want to start buying stuff for when the baby is born and make sure that I am well stocked with stuff. What are the best diapers? Huggies? I heard that pampers swadlers are good. I have also been told to buy all different kinds because my baby might have a reaction to the diaper or leak too much. What should I do and what is the best brand. Thank you...
Cloth diaper users: how do I get the poop smell out of my diapers? I have two FuzziBunz AIO that seem to smell like poop still. Right now the way I was my diapers is I dump any loose feces in the toilet, keep my diapers in a dry bucket and I do laundry every night or every other night at the longest. I keep baking powder in my bucket. I do a cold rinse then a hot wash where I add 1/2 cup baking soda then another cold rinse where I add 1/3 cup white vinegar then a final cold rinse. I then dry them on high heat for 60-90 minutes. What should I being doing differently? I don't seem to have the same problem with my pre-folds or my bum genius diapers. Thanks! I forgot to mention that along with the baking soda I also put in detergent in the hot wash cycle
prefolded diapers? do you like the prefolded ones better then other cloth diapers. I have cloth diapered my diaper(who is 21/2 but is delayed) in mother ease but now I am using prefolds and love them. Rebecca never gets rashes between the legs fron too lose diapers. I just bought 2 dozen toddler size. I use snappis and a cover. If she doesn't use the cover she gets them pinned. I use the bikini twist with her it adds extra absorbancy and relly good pocket to hold in poops.I just bought some from this site they were cheaper then the last dozen(now we will have three dozen instead of 1) .they were 15 dollars cheaper for toddler and only 10 shipping http://www.nhdcanada.com/diapering-prefold-diapers-c-1_7_52.html
which diapers are more environmentally friendly? gdiapers or cloth diapers? I've been reading up on both sides... it seems like gdiapers still need trees to make their liners, but but cloth diapers need the energy and water required for laundering them. What are your opinions? What have you used, and what do you prefer? Which do you think is most environmentally friendly?
Huggies diapers? Huggies diapers? I have two months old and have been using huggies diapers since he was born. The problem is, that he very often pees throught it - the diaper is not nearly full, but his whole back or stomach are wet. I used to be a nanny and used huggies diapers with all the infants I have taken care of and I never had this problem. We are using the right size and putting it on right {I believe} so what is the problem? Do you think pampers would be better?
Cloth diapers? My son is 9 months old... he is 29 pounds...big boy, not over fed he was exclusivly breastfed till 7 months and just started baby food and somtimes formula...anyways he is in the biggest size diaper size 6 in pampers crusiers... do they make bigger diapers? and are cloth diapers made to fit bigger babies,,, one more thing is there a place or companyi could get a free sample of a cloth diaper, so i am not wasting money ( they are expensive to start)
getting diapers from people? im starting to plan my baby shower and i am trying to come up with an idea to make sure i get diapers and wipes......i need them the most...so heres my idea....on the invitations somehow say that the first 10 people there with diapers and wipers get a prize....and then once the games part has started i would give those people a gift....i was thinking i would get a lot of diapers cuz wouldnt everyone try to do this?? is this a good idea or no?? any suggestions?? would that be rude to write it right on the invitation? my bf cannot do a diaper party by the way cuz he has no one to really invite he's a very shy guy and does not have any friends plus we were thinking of doing a co ed baby shower......
!diapers!? im 16 and like to wear diapers at home i was just wondering how to make them last monger and how to tell my parents that i wear diapers?
cloth diapers or disposable diapers, and why? i was talking to my husband about using cloth cause alot of babies get rashes, alergies to diapers. and also they are so expensive. so if i were to choose cloth how do you wash them, what do you do when they are poopy...lol...when i was little they had diaper service. so wich would you choose is the best way to go? i just feel that at 10 dollars for 12 cloth diapers is not bad and if you buy say 100 dollars worth you are still saving money right?
Daily Diapers? I know every baby is different, but I just need a general census. I'm planning on buying diapers online and need to know (about) how much I'm going to need. The newborn sizes come in a box of 252. (About) how long will that last a [breastfed] newborn? (About) how many diapers does a baby go through a day? ...a week?
no more diapers to turn to, what will I do? My son is 22lbs and 9 1/2 months and the size 4 diapers are getting snug, so I will switch to size 5 soon. But, the biggest diaper is size 6, so what then? I mean, what if he outgrows size 6 before potty training? I am freakin out.
Managing cloth diapers in public? Not being a parent myself, and having no experience with this, I have to ask. Many people choose cloth diapers for both their babies and the environment. I'm curious, how do they deal with a dirty cloth diaper out in public? Do they wash it in a public restroom sink? Do they put it in a sealed plastic bag and take it with them? I don't imagine other people nearby would be happy about either option.
Gdiapers/cloth diapers? How expensive Gdiapers comparing to regular diapers? Also where to buy cloth diapers and how much they cost? Which ones you prefer? Thank you very much
Do bumGenius 3.0 one size cloth diapers require covers? If you have used these diapers, I am interested in any feedback. I am about 6 weeks along and have long been interested in cloth diapering. This is our first child, though, and my friends are all traditional disposable types. I have read that all cloth diapers require covers, which has been cited in the descriptions of the diapers. These diapers, however, do not make any mention of cover requirements; although the others by bumGenius do. Please let me know about the cover requirement for these and any successful or negative reviews. They are an expensive investment. While most sites offer a 14-day money back guarantee, I have no one to test them on currently and would like to start purchasing them before baby's arrival. Thanks again!!
Cloth Diapers...? This is to anyone who has diapered their little ones with cloth. I know what brand I want to use, Bum Genius 3.0 The problem I am having is finding a website that is user friendly for a registry. Has anyone used a website register for their cloth diapers? Thanks To Easy...give me a break...You must have done something wrong to have cloth cost you more. It's better on the wallet, it's better for the baby, not to mention how much better it is for the environment
Pampers Diapers? I am doing a survey on pampers diapers and i need everyone to help especially moms....if u can answer 3 questions takes only 2 mintues below and email it to me i will be sooooooo thankful.....pagalnina@yahoo.com Think of Pampers Diapers. In one word, summarize your feelings about Pampers Diapers? ___________________ Now select an object that represents your feelings about Pampers Diapers? __________ Why did you choose that word and that object? Changing diapers in the crib.? I'm one of those mothers that was never too overly taken with the whole baby change table idea. I always found them to be overly expensive, not anywhere near large enough to change older babies and toddlers still in diapers, and when the kids are done with diapers, their just such an eye sore to look at So instead, I adopted the idea of changing my kids right inside of their baby cribs like so many of the mothers I used to babysit for did with their own children. It never seemed to ever bother me bending and stooping over for a couple of minutes in order to take care of a diaper change. In fact back when I babysat some of the mothers used the tops of their washing machines and electric dryers as makeshift changing tables, or their bathroom counters, which I do too. Anyhow my question is this, "How many of you change, or have changed diapers in the crib"? "What's your take on baby change tables"?
cloth diapers? How many of you use cloth diapers? My mom used cloth diapers for all three of us. I consider myself "green" and my husband and I are thinking about having a baby. My question is if you have used cloth diapers how convinient are they? I know they deliver but what about going out to eat and having a dirty diaper?
Cloth diapers? I was wondering what you need to get started with cloth diapers. I was looking into it to save some money since I am having twins, I dont mind extra loads of wash or having to clean poop off. I am a little confused on what I would need to buy. There are the pre folds, covers, other diaper looking things. I am really at a lost. I went to different web sites and they say to buy diapers but what part is the diaper and what do I need covers with. Thanks
Cloth Diapers, that come with disposable inserts, at a reasonable price? I'm instered in attemping at saving some money and being a bit friendlier to the enviroment with diapering my child. I've been looking into the cloth diapers like the Kushies "all in one diapers" but insted of needing to constanly wash this all the time I wondered if anyone knew of an insert that's a disposible type pad and that actually worked pretty well, and didn't cost too much. (I'm pretty sure they excist somewhere!) I like the idea of cloth, I just not exactly into the idea of washing poopy diapers. (a little no problemo, just not a lotta's!)
Disposable diapers versus cloth diapers, what nonsense? I've never before heard such nonsense and rubish when it comes to pitting one against the other. I hear it all the time, "Oh if you use cloth diapers, you use so much water". Or, "All the laundry soap and washing and drying". People are so small minded. I guess there's no water used whatsoever in the pulp and paper process of manufacturing disposable diapers. (Ya right). Oh and of course, there's no other environmental concerns from big corporations poluting our waterways and water table systems. (Ya right once again). What about baby's comfort? I wouldn't dream of wearing disposables myself, so why would I put my baby in them? Their scatchy, rough, fit poorly, and look pathetic, never mind the asinine expense of affording them. I'm not at all against mothers who use disposable diapers, to each their own. But when people throw off the cuff comments around when they don't know what their talking about, it causes me to question people's sanity. Ignorance is not a virtue.
Help, I like diapers? I'm in high school and I like diapers. I don't wear any right now but want to. I've been like this since I was about 5 yrs old when my mom found left over diapers from when i was a baby and i took one and wore it around the house and to bed and i liked it. When i was younger like around 8 i tried other ways of getting to wear diapers but never did. I've wanted to wear diapers on and off, sometimes I wish I could and other times I would even care about them. I want to tell my mom but she will think i'm crazy. What should i do, I just want to wear something like goodnites. They aren't really like diapers. I feel so weird......... I almost want to cry.
About "chicken diapers"-those pads packaged with chicken....? How do you dispose of "chicken diapers? Why is chicken, at least where I live'', packaged with "chicken diapers"? Where is dressed chicken sold without "diapers" . I really dislike these "chicken diapers"! They smell up my garbage. I sometimes burn them in my wood stove, but I don't like doing that because if the plastic..and now it's too hot for the wood stove. What to other people do ...short of raising their own chickens??.
Gerber Flat Fold Birdseye Cloth Diapers or Heavyweight Gauze Cloth Diapers? If you are familiar with cloth diaper, can you please tell me which one is better, softer, thinner, easily dry after washed? I found these two kind being sold at Walmart. I'm thinking of getting either the Gerber Flat Fold Birdseye Cloth Diapers or Heavyweight Gauze Cloth Diapers. The Gauze one is more expensive than the birdeye diapers. Does that mean the gauze has better quality? What other department stores sell them or online stores? Is there other kind of cloth diapers which you highly recommend? Thanks in advance for your advices.
Diapers, Diapers, Diapers? I am pregnant now and I was wondering if you remember how many diapers of each size you used with your baby. I have 120 newborn sized and 200 size 1s. How many more do I need or each and also how many of size 2? Sorry if this is confusing. I just want to know how many of each size I should have. Thanks!
diapers on long trips? Our family is going on a trip to Florida in 2 weeks. I have 3 kids a 7 yo daughter, an 11 yo son, and a 13 yo daughter. Unfortunately they are someyimes lazy when it comes to car rides. They never tell me or my husband when they need to go to the bathroom. We try not to make frequent stops to the bathroom so we can get to our destination quickly. We think we're going to make all three kids wear diapers as they've been known to have "accidents" in the car before. What diapers should we use and should my husband and I change them ourselves? Also my husband is thinking about spanking them when they wet their diapers without telling us they have to go. All answers are appreciated.
