Baby Cloth Diapers Questions
What are the best, easiest, most convenient cloth baby diapers? I am absolutely overwhelmed looking at the endless products available/necessary for cloth diapering! I used cloth diapers for my babies (many years ago) and there was basically 1 choice. You got a cloth diaper, plastic pants and diaper pins and you learned how to put it together. NOW - there are diaper "systems". How do you know what is needed, which is most convenient, and best for baby and new mother both? I am looking for a great product for my soon to arrive grandson. Thank you!
If you use cloth diapers, does your baby wear a bigger size because of bulk? I guess it might depend somewhat on what type of cloth diapers you're using? Anyway, I'm about to buy some prefolds + covers, and also some pocket type diapers, and was curious about how much bulk there is going to be, like in a onesie. Will my baby need to wear a bigger size, since I'm guessing clothes aren't usually cut to allow room for cloth diapers anymore?
Question for parents who use cloth diapers and baby is in daycare? My 13 month old daughter is starting daycare in a week. The daycare said that they would be happy to use her cloth diapers. However, I don't know what I can buy for them to store the soiled diapers. I'm looking for something that is compact and more importantly won't smell up the whole daycare. Any suggestions would be great!
Can you use baby powder with cloth diapers? I know you can't use creams. I have a variety of pocket style diapers right now, and am getting more of the bum genius 3.0's. Will powder effect the absorbency of the diapers?
Should our baby use cloth diapers? What are the pros and cons of using cloth diapers? We noticed little gel balls (that come from disposable diapers) on our baby boy when diapering him -- is this bad? Also, cloth diapers are more economical (in the long run) and environmentally friendly. Has anyone switched to cloth and gone back? Thanks!
How do I remove baby poo stains on cloth diapers? I have GDiapers so the outer cloth pants are pretty colors so I dont really want to fade them out but my lil one has gotten some really good poo stains on them. I dont want to use harsh chemicals to remove the stains like bleach. I have tried Orange TKO oil and this works awesome on the white ones if I sun them after but im not too sure on the color ones. Is there a good poo stain remover that is organic or natural?
Would you use cloth diapers on your baby? Its better for the environment, the health of your baby, and it doesn't have all those chemicals that are in disposables. Also its less bulky so your baby can move easer.
Baby coupons/itmes? What do you think about cloth diapers? Does any one know sites or places to get good baby coupons on diapers/tolietries etc? I am due in a couple of months and trying to find ways to save money. Also I have been thinking about using cloth diapers. Does this save money (in the long run) or does it equal about the same or more? Does it make the baby break out in rashes? Any adive or info would be very appreciated. Thanks.
Could someone please share with me a sewing pattern to make baby alive wet n wiggles cloth diapers? My six year old daughter just got one for her BDay, thank god it's only water she drinks, but I am really put off by the criminal waste of disposable diapers this doll requires. The manufacturer is definitely not environmentally friendly and I do hate toys that bleed us parents like that. I would like to get her some washable cloth ones, but I am not living in the USA at the moment and would like to know if anyone has a pattern I could use to make them myself. Thanks everyone and Happy 2008
Whats the best cloth diaper to use on my baby? I'm going to be using cloth diapers on my baby. I'm stuck between the fitteds and the all in ones. I want something comfortable and leakproof. I was also wondering if these diapers will fit under the onesies and any other clothes I may get at the shower. They all seem to look a little bulkey.
Your favorite cloth diapers for older babies? I have a 13 month old and we've never cloth diapered before. What are your favorite cloth diapers for larger babies? He's 23 pounds and about 30 inches tall, and of course, really really active. What types would be best to use, and what types would be best to avoid? Ugg... there are so many choice. With disposables it's pretty much which brand do you want to pay for, and which one has the stretchiest sides. Ahh!
I'm considering using cloth diapers for our new baby....? Can anyone tell me where to start? I need to know any good sites, the benifits of using cloth diapers. Where to buy them.. Everything!! We used pampers for our son who is now 2. I cant stand the thought of putting that MANY diapers in a landfill again with our second baby! Please help me state my case! My husband thinks this is a gross idea and is really against it. I need to read up and prove to him that its sanitary and great for mother earth and our budget. Thanks so much!!
How do cloth diapers and the covers work? The baby wears a cloth diaper, then you put the cover over it. So every time you wash the cloth diaper, are you a washing the cover as well? So is it every cover for every cloth diaper? And you have to wash the cover as much as the cloth diaper? Thanks!
What are your opinions on cloth diapers? I'm only 19 weeks pregnant, but already getting really nervous about the extra expenses of having a baby. We're thinking about trying cloth diapers for the baby rather than the disposable ones. What are your thoughts? Are they terribly hard to clean up? Anyone out there tried them? The only conclusion I've been able to come up with is that if someone is babysitting for me I would definitely let them use disposable ones, just because I'm sure it would be easier for them.
has anyone tried one-size bamboo or hemp cloth diapers for your baby and what do you think? i've read good things about the absorbency and anti-microbial natures of these types of diapers but don't know anyone that has ever actually tried one. because my baby is already over 20 lbs, i would like to buy one-size ones (8-35 lbs-ish) that i can use for subsequent children as well. in doing research, i have discovered that mother-ease ones are the cheapest but does that mean that they are not as good? which kind do you use (hemp or bamboo)? what brand do you use? what do you like/dislike about them? what brand would you recommend? would you even recommend these kinds of diapers? should i consider just buying the hemp or bamboo liners and using those in my existing cloth diapers? thanks for any help you can give!
Do cloth diapers really keep babies dry, and do they leak? I'm expecting my first child (a boy) in October, and am thinking about using cloth diapers instead of disposables. Seems like a responsible choice both for the environment and for my bank account. But is it responsible for my son? I'm looking for specific experiences with cloth diapers, please, not links or other information about maintaining a green home. Of course, I'm referring to the new cloth diapers that come with velcro, no diaper pins, that include flushable liners, and that can be used from birth through potty training.
Where else besides online can i buy cloth diapers? I live in NYC. I want to use cloth diapers when my baby is born. Where else can i buy besides online. I would like to actually see some or even feel them in a store before I buy. Does anyone know of an actual store that I can walk into and buy, or maybe you know of a website where I can get a sample of fabric.
can't get rid of ammonia with my babies cloth diapers!? I thought it was the fact that he was sitting in pee over night that gave it time to turn to ammonia. ( he's day potty trained and we just started cloth at night 3 weeks ago ) Well I just put a diaper on him and he peed...A few minutes later I catch a strong whiff of ammonia. It ALREADY smells really strong! I'm gonna have to put a disposable on him again until we get this figured out. I really want to figure out what I'm doing wrong cause I'm due in 5 weeks and wanted to cloth diaper this baby. I've tried 3 different soaps ( purex, all, and arm and hammer) I'm only using like a tbsp and running it through 3 cycles! ( no soap - soap - no soap) I have a front load washer. I also tried a small squirt of blue dawn and just water. I even tried 1/8 cup bleach. ( I tried all of these things seperatly not together) nothing is working and it's ticking me off! Someone please tell me how to fix this ammonia problem! I ran them through 3 extra hot cycles plain water cycles ( back to back ) last week...there was no suds. Still ammonia!
Did you wear Disposable or Cloth Diapers as a baby? My daughter was born six months ago and I remembered trying to decide whether to use cloth or disposable. My hubby was against cloth at first, but we decided to give it a shot. It has been wonderful. However, my mother can't go over it. She told me that when I was born (1978) that cloth was considered too uncomfortable and everybody was starting to use disposables. It seems that the cloth vs. disposable diaper debate will go on forever. So ladies, which kind did you wear?
How do you put a cloth diaper on the baby? EMERGENCY , All I have is the ones you can use as burp clothes too ! Any ideas , I just need to do this for a small amount of time until my husband gets home from work..Instructions please!
What do you use for liners with cloth diapers? Say your baby has a mild diaper rash... you want to use diaper cream, but cannot b/c it is advised against whilst using BumGenius cloth diapers. What do you use as a liner? I've been using cut up old t-shirts and I also bought some flushable liners, but the flushable liners feel rough like fabric softener sheets. I'm worried the cream will still seep through to the diaper.
What are the best cloth diapers? I am thinking of buying cloth diapers for when my baby is due in September. What are the best ones to buy? I've been looking on Ebay and am a little confused with all of the different types out there. Thanks in advance.
Is it true that disposing of baby diapers is illegal? From cloth diaper advocates I've often heard that it is technically illegal to dispose of human waste in the trash can, therefore they argue that most American mothers are breaking the law by dumping disposal poo-filled diapers in the trash. Can someone verify this? LOL
Fabric for cloth diapers for sensitive babies? I want to make cloth diapers for preemies, what is the best fabric for the inner layer? I know some preemies can be really sensitive. I'd like to make AIO diapers, with PUL on the outer layer, probably hemp or microfiber in the middle (for the soaker), and I was thinking velour for the inside-but that doesn't take the wetness away as well as suedecloth. Any suggestions? Any cloth you REALLY like/dislike?
What is the best brand of all in one cloth diapers? I tried the bumpkins for my son. I gave up & switched to disposables because he kept getting diaper rashes. We are expecting another baby in Oct. & would like to try the cloth diapers again. I need to know from experience which brand has the best absorbancy & holds up well in the washer & dryer. I'm considering Fuzzi Bunz or Bum Genius. These diapers are expensive & I want to purchase the right kind this time. I hope someone can help..
Cloth Diaper Question: What to do when changing your baby in public? i am not pregnant yet but am hoping to be soon. I am also trying to be more 'green' so I've been looking into cloth diapers. I was wondering what people usually do with the soiled diaper when they change it in public? Also...is there a website where you can register for 'green' toys for babies online? Mature answers only please.
I want to use cloth diapers, but need help choosing a brand? For my next baby I'm switching to cloth diapers and I've narrowed it down to two brands - MotherEase (I like the cost-effective one-size option) and FuzziBunz. Any mothers with experience with these two brands? I have two reservations with FuzziBunz.....they are polyester, right? And also, more expensive than MotherEase.

Breastfeed baby and Kushies AIO diapers? I was wondering if anyone has had any experience using these cloth diapers with a breastfed baby? I have heard mixed reviews about these being able to contain breastfed BM, I would like to hear some opinions about this before I decide to order a few of these diapers. I would like to try to breastfeed and cloth diaper, but I want something that my husband is going to be able to change, so pins and folding aren't really an option. Thanks for your help!
Another question about cloth diapers? I am planning on useing cloth diapers for my baby. I would like to start buying them now, while I'm still pregnant. My two other children weighed almost 9 pounds each whn they were born. I am leaning towards Fuzzi Bunz, but have bought a sample pack of others. How many smalls should I buy? I was going to get a starter set with 18, but it is quite expensive and I'm worried my child will grow out of them before I get my money's worth. Any Recommendations. I also bought some diapers off craigslist from a lady that decided not to cloth diaper after her daycare said she had to bring in disposables. Here's the diapers I have so far. 1 Small Fuzzi Bunz, 1 Bum Genius 2.0, 1 Small Knickernappie, 1small Happy Heinies, 1 Small drybees (these were all from the sampler. I also have 1med fuzzi bunz, 1med little lambs, 1 med bumkins, 5 med kushies, 2 large babykins, 4 large cottontails, 6 xl bumkins, 2 wahms (not sure what size yet) and 1 kushies diaper cover.
How many cloth diapers should I stock up on? I want to go the cloth diaper method and I want to know how many of each size I should get, such as newborn/small, medium and large. Please dont quote how many times a baby poops. I want to know from people who have cloth diapers and how many on average they use. Thank you in advance
Sources for flushable/disposable liners for cloth diapers? I found these things called gDiapers but they are really dear, and my mum has already started sewing cloth diapers for my baby. She said when I was a little one there were paper liners you could put in the cloth diapers to get rid of solid waste easily - does anyone know where I could get something like that nowadays? I have tried looking at department stores, grocery stores, and baby shops, so I'm thinking the internet might be my last hope...thanks for any help!
Why do so many parents use regular diapers, not cloth? I personally used disposables with my first until he was 2 1/2, then switched to cloth. My second child was about 6 months at the time. Now I'm pregnant with my third and I am extatic to use cloth on the new baby! Do people not know that cloth diapers are not like the ones your grandma used to use? Do people even care that it's cheaper to use cloth and better for our environment? I don't understand why somebody wouldn't use cloth. Why wouldn't a parent want to use cloth?
How do cloth diapers work and what do i need to buy? i want to use cloth diapers on my lil one when they are born but i dont know which are best to get and what exactly to get. I understand you need to buy the prefold and the outer waterproof part..can someone describe to me how this works. Also how many for each baby stage do i need...ie: new born etc etc
Where can I sell used cloth diapers online? I have a set of 18 Fuzzi Bunz Small diapers that my baby outgrew and tried to sell them on eBay. After three days they were up to about $150.00 and then eBay cancelled my auction and said that it violated used clothing rules. Furthermore they made it so that I cannot contact any of the bidders due to the auction being invalid. Now I am looking for an alternate venue for selling them.
"Which is better to used when cloth diapering a baby at night? AIO or Fitted? I am new to cloth diapering. Very New. My initial purchase was a few thirsties diaper covers and some prefolds. I haven't tried to use the prefolds at night. My kid is one. I pretty much gave up on the snappi's and trying to wrap the prefold around baby. (I have trouble even wrapping presents). So far, I just been folding my prefold into 3rds and placing it right in the diaper cover (I had to cut the prefold down to do make it fit in the diaper cover.) I just don't think doing this will make keep her dry at night. What are the advantages and disadvantages of using fitted diapers or AIO at night. She's 12 months. Also what are plain Kushies. are they an AIO?
Affordable, quality cloth diapers? - Cloth diapering moms only please!? My baby is due in a couple months and I just discovered how cool "new" cloth diapers are! They come in the cutest fabric, I even saw some made of velour! They close with velcro and snaps, some don't even need covers! Who ever thought I could get so excited over cloth diapers? Even my boyfriend is impressed. The ones online are so much cooler than the ones in the store. I've heard the only thing the store bought ones are good for is dusting. But unfortunately they're REALLY expensive! At least for this low income mama. I know I would save money in the long run by using cloth diapers instead of disposables, but just don't have the kind of money it takes to buy a couple dozen good cloth diapers. What's a mama to do? How can I afford to diaper my baby in the awesome cloth diapers? Do any sites that sell them have discounts for poor mamas? I've seen some cheap ones, but I'm nervous buying real cheap ones. I'm afraid they might be cheap quality like the store ones. Suggestions? I don't sew, I wish I could learn- but I don't even know anybody with a sewing machine. I saw those fuzzy bunz, Bugsy- But seriously, have you done the math? It's about $400.00 to get two dozen of those suckers. That's not even including shipping! That's more than my car cost! Shoot maybe I should sell it for diapers!?
for the women who used cloth diapers on their babies...? how long did you use them for? did you have to buy multiple sizes or how often did you have to change diapers? i was down right set on cloth diapers then i remembered how the baby grows and would out grow the diapers... i'm a bit confused is there a one size fits all? lol sorry just new. i'm 12 weeks preggers but already preparing... thanks bunches for the answers! :)
I want to use cloth diapers with my new baby.? After researching, I believe it's more healthy, economical and better for the environment. Can anyone give me some opinions on what types of cloth diapers to use and tips on easier cleaning? I live in a small town, and we don't have a diaper service. The laundry services we have laughed when I asked them about doing diapers.
I want to start using cloth diapers on my 7 month old baby girl, I need info....? Whats the best kind? I been looking around and the ones i like the most are BABY KANGAS, BOM BABIES &GAD but any other suggestions are welcome. do they lik out? I want to know whats the best size for a 7 month old? how many I need for a 7 month old? how many times i would be changing her during the day? how many times I got to change her during the night? do I need a special soap to wash them? how often u wash them? how do you do when you go out and she poops? do you just put it in a bag or something? well I need DETAILS please. I want to use cloth diapers that are not bulk. There are too many. Help!Baby Boy 21lbs 9 mo.? I've read so many bits of info about the fabrics and ways to strap down and the all-in-one ....and I have LOST my mind. It was so overwhelming and there were too many varieties and specifics that I left the idea. Its been 9 months and I am back to reconsidering it only if I had some experienced ppl to talk to. Plz tell me if there are fabrics that pull the moisture away from the skin, how often to change, how to have a non bulky diaper, that is easy to clean and possibly all in one piece but its not the most determining factor for me. Baby is crawling(if that matters).
cloth diaper users... baby powder question? is it okay to use baby powder in the diaper? what would it do to it? im asking because my son's poops are so unbearbly stinky and babypowder in paper diapers was the only hope i had. i have rice paper liners, would it be better to put it on that instead of the diaper?
Cloth Diapers - Washing? I really want to cloth diaper my baby when he comes (end of January/beginning of February). The sites I have been to that sell them all talk about running them through a cold rinse cycle and then washing them in hot water and then running them through a rinse cycle again. Is this necessary or can you just wash them? The reason I ask is because we live in an apartment and have to pay $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry. I'd really rather not spend $4.50 every other day just on washing alone, especially since we can't hang dry them. Is there any other way to do it so I don't have to do more than one wash cycle? rinsing in the toilet maybe? Its my first baby so I'm new to it all. Please let me know if you have ideas or what worked for you if you've done it. Thanks
Cloth diapers? I told my mom that i am thinking of trying to use cloth diapers on my baby. (her first grandkid, over-excited) and she shipped me 5 dozen diapers. I think they are call the pre-fold. Just 1 big square. My question is, this quantities should be enough right? i can't imagine not washing them every 2 or 3 days. And if anyone has any website/instruction on how to fold these? and the quantity of diapers covers i need for each stage, and the brand they recommend? I am brand new at this baby business, not to mention cloth diaper. Any help or information will really help. thank you!

Cloth Diapers? I am going to use cloth diapers when my baby is born. What are your favorite brands and styles? Why? Thanks! The fabrics of today's cloth diapers are better than when my mother used cloth diapers on me. And there are even cloth diapers that do not have to use the plastic lining over them. If you do not know anything about cloth diapers do not answer. http://www.dy-dee.com/Benefits_of_Cloth/Skin_Care/skin_care.html People you don't let your kid wallow in its filth. When it wets its diaper you change it. The harsh chemicals in disposables cause rashes. When my mother switched me to cloth I never had a rash again.
Cloth Diapers and using Dreft? I have heard many conficting views on which detergent really is the best to use for washing cd's. I've been using All free and Clear and I've had some issues with leaking. I've started using Dreft which my mother in law suggested and have had no problems thus far. I also use a 1/4 cup of baking soda and a downy ball 1/2 full of vinager( only opens in rinse cycle) in every wash. Is Dreft really that bad to use? If it's ok for baby clothes why not cloth diapers? Oh and my baby has not had any diaper rash form using Dreft either.
Cloth Diapers? I've been cloth-dipering my baby (7 1/2 weeks) since coming home from the hospital.... Now he's pees alot more. I use two diapers at a time during the night, both flat folds, but he's soaking them at night when he sleeps for 4-6 hours at a stretch. I am using covers, Dappi, Chummies, and ProRap, but the Dappi's seem to leak a little or at least the fabric wicks out moisture? If anyone has ever used cloth past a month (hehe) how do I combat the night leakies, and STILL use cloth? I mean, I've got TWO diapers and a cover wrapped around him, so that his little legs look all funny and stick out kind of... I want him to have less bulk, but still absorbent? Anything better than birdseye cotton diapers? No, no disposables for my baby, don't suggest pls. Thanks. :)
Cloth Diapers? Anyone ever use them? What's the best Brand? What's the worst? And, what do you do if you have to run somewhere, your baby is wearing a cloth diaper, and then you change it in public (with a disposable one)....where does the dirty cloth diaper go? to Sevenuv: Whoa! You poor thing! But surprises are neat! ;) Thanks for the info....breadbags...good idea. I'd wrap with like 10 bags though, lol. :)
diapers questions..........? why i need to change my baby diapers every 3 hours???? if not, how my baby get diaper rash? is there any chemical reaction in to the diapers? whynot i put the same diaper for further an hour if there not much urine? how should i wash my baby's cloth diaper? do i need to change every urination or..i can leave it for 2 or more urine??? from new mummy...
cloth diapers? I want to use cloth diapers for my next baby. someone know of the best brand, what brand did you like best? I want the new age ones. not the ones with the cloth and rubber pants but the ones that are all-in-one. any suggestions?? thank you!!
how to laundre cloth diapers? I am thinking of using cloth diapers for my next baby. How do i laundre them without getting poop all over ther place. Has any one used cloth diapers and how do you launder them?
cloth diapers or disposable diapers, and why? i was talking to my husband about using cloth cause alot of babies get rashes, alergies to diapers. and also they are so expensive. so if i were to choose cloth how do you wash them, what do you do when they are poopy...lol...when i was little they had diaper service. so wich would you choose is the best way to go? i just feel that at 10 dollars for 12 cloth diapers is not bad and if you buy say 100 dollars worth you are still saving money right?
Managing cloth diapers in public? Not being a parent myself, and having no experience with this, I have to ask. Many people choose cloth diapers for both their babies and the environment. I'm curious, how do they deal with a dirty cloth diaper out in public? Do they wash it in a public restroom sink? Do they put it in a sealed plastic bag and take it with them? I don't imagine other people nearby would be happy about either option.
Cloth diapers? My son is 9 months old... he is 29 pounds...big boy, not over fed he was exclusivly breastfed till 7 months and just started baby food and somtimes formula...anyways he is in the biggest size diaper size 6 in pampers crusiers... do they make bigger diapers? and are cloth diapers made to fit bigger babies,,, one more thing is there a place or companyi could get a free sample of a cloth diaper, so i am not wasting money ( they are expensive to start)
Cloth diapers? I was thinking of using cloth diapers when I have a baby. I know a little about them. Do you just need the cloth diapers? Do you need liners or anything else? For the most part I'm clueless. Any info would be a big help. how much of a supply of them should i have?
Where can my wife and I get the most inexpensive diapers for our baby without shopping at Wal-Mart? My wife and I are having our first baby in either late March or early April. She is engaging in some serious "nesting" and has decided that the thing to do is to buy as many diapers as we can right now, so that the expense will be taken care of by the time the baby comes. However, she told me last night that she believes the best place to get the most diapers for the lowest price would be Wal-Mart. I, however, would prefer not to give our family's money to this company. So is there any place that you know of where disposable diapers can be bought for the same price or lower than at Wal-Mart? NOTE: We don't qualify for any aid programs, and cloth diapers are not something my wife wants. Keonlise: If I buy at Sam's Club, the money still goes to Wal-Mart. The other stores you mentioned do not exist in my area. NOTE: To those suggesting Target, we do have this store in the area, but my wife will not believe that Target will be less expensive or as expensive as Wal-Mart. NOTE: We are aware that newborns outgrow newborn-sized diapers. We plan to buy different sizes so the baby will have diapers as he or she grows.
Cloth Diapers?? I have a 9 month old daughter. When we first had her I was all for disposable diapers but as I have used them I hate them. I am pregnant with my second child and I have thought maybey I would give cloth diapers a shot. I need to know what to buy. They make the cloth ones but there so thin. Everyone in my family has used disposables so no help there. Also when you change baby do you soak the diapers? Do they stain when you wash them? I would really love some input on this. Okay what do you mean soak them in a pail? Like a bucket? If thats the case when I have my second child my girl will only be 15 mths and I would be worried that she would drown. Could I put them in something with a lid?
Disposable Diapers or Cloth Diapers or a Combination? My wife and I are trying to have a baby and the discussion of diapers came up. With the extrordinary expense and the sheer waste of "plastic" diapers we have talked about going back to rewashable cloth diapers and using "plastic" diapers only in an emergency or if we are traveling... what do you all think?
Info on cloth diapers?? I've decided on using cloth once my husband and I have a baby. I'm trying to price it and figure it out... we're TTC now and I just wanted to have a more educated budget and idea of what's up. So I have a few Q's... please answer if you can and feel free to give any more info you think would be helpful... 1-What is the best brand?.. and why? (Fuzzi Bunz are the ones I've been considering.. anyone know how they are??) 2-How many diapers is reasonable to get in each size? 3-Do cloth diapers help or hurt diaper rash? 4-How often does a baby need to be changed while wearing a cloth diaper? 5-Should a special detergent be used as to be more sensative to the skin of the baby? ... if so.. do you have any recommendations? Again, please feel free to add on info that you think would be helpful. Thanks so much!
cloth diapers? i want to start letting my 7 month old son wear cloth diapers while we're at home and at grandmas. whats the best kind to get? i don't want to have to use safety pins, are there any with velcro or something like that? how long can a baby wear one? same as disposable diapers? let me know everything! thanks!
cloth diapers? How many of you use cloth diapers? My mom used cloth diapers for all three of us. I consider myself "green" and my husband and I are thinking about having a baby. My question is if you have used cloth diapers how convinient are they? I know they deliver but what about going out to eat and having a dirty diaper?
Cloth diapers? I don't know the first thing about using cloth diapers. However, I'm expecting my first baby, a boy, in late November, and would like to use them (I think!). What are the pro's, the con's, how do you clean them, how do you attach them to the baby, etc? Any links, resources, suggestions? Thank you! I know disposables are easier. But my husband and I are on a tight income, I'd like to try to save money. We'll use disposables occasionally, like when we're out, but for at-home I'd like to use cloth. Please, I'd like tips from mothers who use cloth diapers, not people who use disposable diapers. Thankyou! I'm also looking at the environmental aspect (no millions of non-degradable diapers in the landfills) and the hygenic aspect (less chance of diaper rash or irritation)
