Question for moms that use cloth or washable diapers? I just was able to get 4 one size Bum Genius reusable diapers and 6 inserts for free! My question is for the moms that successfully used similar diapers, how many should I get? I know 4 is not enough. And also has anyone used Bum Genius diapers, and if so how are they? Last question is do you have any tips on using cloth diapers? I have a 4yo that I used disposable diapers on but I do not want to go that route again with this baby. --Thanks.
Need recommendations on cloth diapers - which brand is best? I currently use pampers but I would like to switch to cloth diapers. I have no time to deal with a diaper service nor the old fashion cloth diapers that my grandmother probably used. I have seen lots of websites with cloth diapers that promise easy use and leak free, but would like to see what other parents recommend. I need a cloth diaper that is as quick as a Pampers diaper and easy to wash. Thanks!
Patterns for making your own All in one cloth diapers? I am looking into making my own cloth diapers, the all in one kind. If you have a pattern you can email me or a link for a free pattern, I'd really appreciate it!! Also, any tips and hints about cloth diapering (what exactly I need to do from Step 1 on) would be appreciated too... Thanks! Also, forgot to ask- can anyone give me a basic list of the supplies I will need for cloth diapering a newborn? I am due July 8th. By a list, I mean- how many diapers should I get, what sizes, any additional accessories necessary, what soap I should use, etc. I am really looking for someone to say-- THIS is what you NEED to buy to do this. Here is a list, go buy it! LOL Also, I want diapers that velcro or snap closed-- no pins please!! I have heard about Kissaluvs, bum genius, gdiapers... I may go with the kissaluvs, and then make my own once I get the hang of cloth diapering... what do you think?
Cloth diapers??? Is there an alternative? My doctor suggested using cloth diapers today. My 1yr old had extremely sensitive skin. My question is...is there any other alternative to cloth diapers? Maybe some sort of dye-free, fragrance free diaper? I've tried all the regular brands of diapers already, all the different rash creams, nothing helps. Suggestions would be VERY appreciated! CLOTH ON BUM....thank you, i'll check out the sites!
What did you do about the leg elastic on cloth diapers coming loose? I have bum genius diapers. The leg elastic is loose on 2 of the diapers. I have owned these a month and a half and followed all washing and care directions. I am going to call the company today to inquire about free replacement, but I was just wondering if anyone here has gone through this and what would be suggested.

I need an alternative to cloth diapers for a Camping Trip? My family and I are going camping at Hershey Park in a few weeks. I am using cloth diapers at home to help keep my daughter rash free. I don't have enough diapers to last a week without doing laundry but if I use disposables she gets a horrible rash with just one diaper change. I need something in between. I have looked into G diapers but they seem expensive for just a week. Thanks Heather I should add that we are staying in the Hershey Park campground and are planning to be at the park almost every day. If we are not at the park we will be at the pool.
cloth or disposable diapers? moms, i would like to start a debate right here (tada) in this question about diapers. just a few facts, did you know that disposiable diapers are not ment to hold the poop in the trash, you are suppose to shake it off in the toilet jsut like a cloth diaper; reason; because the poop ends up in our land fills and poultes the ground with human pathogens and increasing the risk of the spread of disease. also, it take 500 years for a disposible diaper to biodegrate and 18-23 billion are thrown away each year. in time for the first years of diapers to biodegrate, 8,500,000,000,000-11,000,000,000,000 will be degrating still. we all know that diapers wernt around for 500 years and that they wont be for much longer, but could you imagine??? please just post opnions, not hate. as for me, i use old fashioned cloth diapers and covers. they work just fine for us. i use chemical free detergent adn viniger to wash, it only takes 20 minutes to dry them and about 60 to wash them. i only wash one... load every other day and it take no effort to fold, its harder to hang shirts, IMO..... hahahah, dont you like how there are sooo many 0's in the second number that the computer just put ...... after it!!!! there were 12 of them.... haha, to CK. your right, we need golf.......ya know, more than our planet. giggle~~~ winnie, you have never tried them, i assume, because i thought the same thing but they are so easy to use, if not easier, you dont put poo in your washing machine and that is why i expalined that you dont use a lot of extra enengy because you only really have to do it every other day and a lot of peeps hang dry. can you believe that the first disposiable was made in 1942, and was make to only hold one wetting??? aww, i would never bleach a diaper, thats why you had rashes, thats crazy!! ahhhhhh! sun dry to get stains out silly!
question about cloth diapers (happy heinys)? im thinking about trying cloth diapers but need some advice. these diapers have caught my attention because they look pretty easy, and they grow with baby so they should be more cost efficient. http://easyclothdiaper.com/products.php?cat=41 my question is how many cloth diapers should i buy if i want to do diaper laundry like twice a week? also if you have experiance with these diapers, what is your opinion of them? or if you use a different diaper and you love it because it is easy, feel free to let me know about it. im not trying to spend a whole lot of money, i just want good diapers that will last and will be easy to clean and change and all that. thanks for your advice julie
Info on cloth diapers?? I've decided on using cloth once my husband and I have a baby. I'm trying to price it and figure it out... we're TTC now and I just wanted to have a more educated budget and idea of what's up. So I have a few Q's... please answer if you can and feel free to give any more info you think would be helpful... 1-What is the best brand?.. and why? (Fuzzi Bunz are the ones I've been considering.. anyone know how they are??) 2-How many diapers is reasonable to get in each size? 3-Do cloth diapers help or hurt diaper rash? 4-How often does a baby need to be changed while wearing a cloth diaper? 5-Should a special detergent be used as to be more sensative to the skin of the baby? ... if so.. do you have any recommendations? Again, please feel free to add on info that you think would be helpful. Thanks so much!
Looking for best deal on Happy Heiny Pocket Diapers size M, anyone know where I can find that? Have tried various cloth diapers and think that Happy Heiny's take the cake... however they are rather expensive. I am looking to purchase at least 10, and am looking for the best deal. Pickings are slim on ebay and so that has not been a great option. Anyone know of a supplier who offers discounts, free shipping, or package deals that would make these diapers cheaper then $15.95? Thank you in advance!
Washing cloth diapers? I am new to cloth diapering and have just started to wash my diapers. Here is how I've been washing them: Cold wash with 1/3 cup baking soda Hot wash/Cold rinse with 1/3 cup baking soda and All free and clear w/ half of recommended detergent Cold rinse w/ downy ball half full of vinegar Cold rinse again to remove vinegar smell. How many times do I wash them this way? Is it ever ok to just wash them on hotwash/cold rinse with half of detergent and vinegar? Is it common for cloth diapers to create lint balls when you first start washing them and does this ever stop? Also how do you know when you need to strip your diapers? Like I said I'm totally new to cloth diapers and want to make sure I wash them right so I get the maximum absorbancy and softness.
Cloth Diapers and using Dreft? I have heard many conficting views on which detergent really is the best to use for washing cd's. I've been using All free and Clear and I've had some issues with leaking. I've started using Dreft which my mother in law suggested and have had no problems thus far. I also use a 1/4 cup of baking soda and a downy ball 1/2 full of vinager( only opens in rinse cycle) in every wash. Is Dreft really that bad to use? If it's ok for baby clothes why not cloth diapers? Oh and my baby has not had any diaper rash form using Dreft either.
Help with washing cloth diapers? How do you wash your cloth diapers, especially if you use more than one kind. I am so confused. I have bum genius 3.0 one size diapers and a happy heiny, and an getting some prefolds with covers as well. The two pocket diapers came today, but have conflicting washing instructions. One says to use a natural soap or an "all free" detergent, and the other says specifically not to use a natural soap or all free detergent, just to use regular tide?? Any help?? here is what the bum genius site said: What detergent can I use? You should only use detergents that are free of dyes, enzymes, perfumes, whiteners and brighteners. Using detergents containing these ingredients will cause damage to your diaper including elastic failure and leaking. Then happy Heinies says this: ecommended detergents: We recommend Tide, Sunlight, Cheer, Era, and Clout (Costco brand). These are not made with any of the natural oily substances which leave residue on fleece. Detergents to avoid: Natural soaps often contain various oils. These should NOT be used because they will leave a residue on fleece, causing it to repel liquids. The following detergents will cause a soap build up. Do NOT use them. * Dr. Bronner’s Soap * 7th Generation * Bio-Kleen * Ivory Snow * Dreft * Any ALL free detergents. * Sport-Wash and Sensi-Clean – These have the potential for detergent burn in babies
Cloth diapering- cleaning poopy diapers- how to do? So, I am new to cloth diapering and only get to do it when at home and on weekends. I am cleaning poop for the first time. The poop mostly just came off into the toilet, but it was a bit gooey. Am I supposed to put soap and rub on it? Pre-treat and soak it? I put some soap and rubbed, but after I washed this load the diaper still smelled awful. So, I must have done something wrong. I feel silly, but I would appreciate if you could tell me what you do and what you use to wash them out? For regular diaper washes I use either Charlie's soap or 7th generation free and clear.
Does anyone have a list of ingredients for Sun Free Laundry Detergent? I'm looking for a laundry detergent without additives, optical brighteners but is still cheap and readily available. In addition, it would be wonderful if it can clean really well, so please share experience. I'm looking to clean cloth diapers.
Are biodegradable diapers really biodegradable? I'm trying to be green with my baby and unfortunately can't use cloth diapers for daycare. I was thinking of using biodegradable diapers but I read somewhere that they don't actually break down under landfill conditions. Is this true? I'm currently using Seventh Generation diapers which are at least clorine free, but I'd like to know if I could do more.
Anyone use Sun Free and Clear on infant clothing? I have been using All Free and Clear, but my baby is still breaking out from it. I also read bad things about the All on cloth diaper websites. Has anyone tried the Sun version? I had read that is has less harmful additives and is actually made from plant based products rather than petroleum. Anyone else have any info?
Disposable Diapers? Which disposable diapers do you feel are the best for the baby and are somewhat earth friendly. I have heard of chlorine free diapers and cotton filled instead of gel filled diapers. I have been to both stores in my areas and have not found anything but Huggies, Pampers, Luvs and Parents Choice. They don't seem to have anthing like what I mentioned above. Is there any other diaper out there that is disposable that is better for baby and planet than the 4 above that I mentioned. You can give your opinion on the whole cloth verses disposable diaper, but I would like some honest opinions on the disposable diaper and info on any kind of biodegradable earth friendly type disposable. Thank you.
Seventh Generation Diapers? I've been using pampers swaddlers which work really well, with the exception of what seems to be more frequent up the back blow out diapers. I want to switch to something better for the environment. I know Seventh Generation Diapers are chlorine free. Do they work well? Are they expensive? What about flushable diapers? I am also checking into cloth diapers, but for this post I really just want to know about disposable ones. Any info or recommendations would be great!
What are your baby expenses? I need to know what to expect? I am planning on being a stay at home mom to be with our first child. I am trying to make a list of monthly expenses I should expect to spend on our baby. My list so far: Clothes: $0 (Have plenty from baby shower and used clothes from friends for first year) Medical insurance premium for baby: $70 1 monthly doctor visit co-pay and prescription co-pay: $35 (all vaccinations included) Random OTC medicines: $10 Food/Formula: $0 (Breastfeeding) Wipes: $5 (Only buying wipes for diaper bag, wash clothes used at home for wipes) Diapers: $7 (Cloth diapering, $7 for dryer only, water free with HOA fees) Shampoo/Lotion: $10 Laundry Detergent: $10 Daycare: $0 (Stay at home mom) Increase in utilities (Only heating for baths): $10 Toys/Pacifiers: $25 Total expenses so far: $182 What else am I missing? What are your baby expenses? I already have all the baby gear, bedding, etc. from my baby shower and our baby's grandparents. So I don't need to buy any of that! :)
Cloth diapering mammas! I'm on a mission? Does anyone know where I can find a free pattern to make an all in one diaper that wouldn't cost me a lot of money. I want to switch my 1 and 2 yr old to cloth diapers to save money but they cost to much so I'm going to make them, but I need to know what materials can I use that won't cost me a fortune.
Cloth Diapering/Alternative Moms: Did friends and family give you a hard time about your choice to go cloth? Cloth Diapering/Alternative Moms: Did friends and family give you a hard time about your choice to go cloth? I've always been a little different to the rest of the family. I'm considered the "hippie" of the bunch. And of course everyone has an opinion about my opinions. (Oh she's the one that only likes cage free chicken eggs, and buys eco-friendly paper towels! Weird!) Anyway, I'll be giving birth in October to a little boy. I want to cloth diaper. I have researched the options, I'm going to try a variety of different ones, they are all homemade, well made, and with different materials so I can find the combinations I like the most. I have also bought some 7th generation diapers just in case as backups and I'm pretty prepared I think. Ive spoken with a lot of friends who cloth diaper and the owner of the cloth diapering company has been giving me guidance as well. So of course! The whole world has an opinion about this. My mother in law giggled at me and said "I will buy you some Pampers because you're too lazy to stick with cloth diapering. Its a hassle anyway. It wont last." Then my sister, who lives in another country, spoke my mother and told her I must only use Huggies, Pampers and the other pricey name brands. She also told me I'm being very foolish cloth diapering because my child will just be wet all the time, he will constantly have a diaper rash and he will suffer. She says I need to keep an open mind for my child's sake. Also, countless friends who only use disposables have given me lectures on this. The worst are the ones that don't even have children of their own because I feel they are just being nosy. I have tried to explain that I've researched all of this, that the cloth diapers I will be using are not the big rectangles of white fabric our moms used 30 yrs ago, and I want to at least try it myself before just giving up. Ive also come into question for things like wanting to use organic formula if I cant breastfeed, for wanting to swaddle, for eating organic only while I'm pregnant, and basically all of my "crunchy" ideas. I've been able to take it all in stride thus far but today, I don't know if its the hormones and moodiness or what but I got so upset about it. I felt as though my sister was implying I would be a bad mother if I insisted on cloth. I know she meant well but it did get to me. Did any other moms come up against protest from family and friends for your choice to cloth diaper or any of the "different" choices you make in life? How did you deal with this without letting it upset you? Im 32 weeks pregnant btw PS: I really don't want to hear about anyone's personal opinion about how awful cloth is right now. I'm hearing enough of it and I have researched all of this. All the aspects. Thank you for respecting that if you can. (Kimberly) :) Cathrl69, thank you. I understand what you are saying but I do want to try these things first and then make my own choice. I realize I might change my mind and Im okay with that. I feel like people wont let me try though
Cloth diapering and mama care? So i started cloth diapering with my almost two year old recently when it crossed my mind that i wanted to cloth diaper our new child due in may. So i bought prefols and vinyl pants, two aio, and made several fitted diapers. My question is how hard is it to cloth diaper 2 children at once? My gandmother insists it's easy as she did it with four boys but i would like to know NOW mom's opinions. Should i by more aio's? What wraps work best? Can i make my own and out of what? And since i will use cloth for my kids i though how convienent would it be to wash my lunar flow away and not wear uncomfy chemical pads. Any mom's do this and tips on how to make it easy and pain free for my husband? i know alot of questions but i would appreciate the advice. thanks
Making cloth diaper wipes? I used cloth diapers with my son and I am going to use them again with this baby. There are a few new brands out this go round. Do you guys prefer Thirsties or bummis super brites? They look about the same. I ordered one newborn thirsties just because it was cheaper and had free shipping. AND...I plan on using washable wipes this time. I wanted to know about the easiest to make at home- Is there a fabric I don't have to sew the edges (won't fray)? Is 8X8 the best size? I think I will prefer to use a spray solution instead of soaking the fabric. Is there something easier and better than.... 12oz water (spray bottle) 1/2 tsp aloe 1 drop tea tree oil 1/2 tsp baby wash I've tried to google as much as I can but would love your advice/ opinions.
How can I go green with raising my infant? How can I go green with raising my infant? Glass bottles instead of plastic, organic and petro free baby lotion, soap, etc organic clothing and bedding, wood floors in nursery, cloth diapers.......WHAT ELSE? Thank you for your ideas!
What do you like about Charlie's Soap? This question may gear more towards those who use cloth diapers. I just bought some on ebay b/c I heard this soap is one of the best along with Allen's Naturally and CountrySave. I've been using Purex Free and Clear and am wondering if that is why my BumGenius diapers are leaking every now and then.
How can I go green (eco and health conscious) with raising my infant? How can I go green with raising my infant? Glass bottles instead of plastic, organic and petro free baby lotion, soap, etc organic clothing and bedding, wood floors in nursery, cloth diapers.......WHAT ELSE? Thank you for your ideas!
Cloth diaper washing boost? I am looking to give my diaper wash a boost. I use Purex Free abd Clear detergent. Do you use both baking soda and vinegar? I tried yesterday putting baking soda in the prewash and vinegar in the rinse. When I opened the washer they had this awefully funny smell, and I had to run another rinse. What do you do to boost your laundy and avoid funny smells?
Are seventh generation diapers any good? I am currently pregnant with twin girls, & I am due in two weeks EXACTLY! Thier daddy has sensative skin & I had to switch to the BABY detergent from Seventh Gen for his skin BEFORE I knew I was pregnant. With this in mind, I am assuming my babies are going to have sensative skin like thier daddy, & I hear about diaper rash from all the brands of disposable diapers from my friends who have kids. I don't have the time for cloth diapers & the nanny probally wouldn't use them anyway when I am at work...so I was looking at Seventh Generation since they say that they are chlorine free & soft, but what does that mean? HOW are they any different than Wal-Mart's white cloud brand of diapers? I mean a diaper is a diaper right? I am a first time mom & at my shower I was given a box of Luv's, Huggies, Pampers, & Seventh Gen!! It was like everybody had thier diaper favorite! So which would be best with sensative hinees for two little baby girls???
Diaper rash still there... it's been a week? My 3 week old baby developed diaper rash around Christmas. We tried switching to fragrance free diapers and are using Triple Paste, which helped a lot, but there is still some raw-looking rash there.Tonight I also noticed that the rest of her bottom looks a little red, which is how the bad diaper rash started. I am calling doc in the morning... but wondering if she could possibly be allergic to the disposable diapers? Anyone have experience with this? My mom and sis both suggested maybe she might need cloth diapers... She never sits in wet diapers for long; I change her diapers very frequently. I also use fragrance-free wipes for sensitive skin. I also try to let her sit without a diaper as long as possible, whenever possible... I'm desperate for a little help / suggestions while I wait for the clinic to open in the morning. THANK YOU!
As a parent, would you be interested in a place like this? I am interested in starting up a parent/child activity and workshop center. It would be a bright fun place with lots of toys and activity centers for kids to play on, comfy seats for adults, and a shop filled with only high quality, owner tested and approved products such as slings, toys, cloth diapers and breastpumps. The center would hold several classes for children such as a kids cooking class, art classes, sibling readiness classes etc. Parent and child classes such as one for both for cooking, a special daddy and me series, parent and child yoga etc, and parent only classes and meeting such as budgeting, menu planning, and a few just-for-fun classes, and free meetings for things as (perhaps) La Leche League and diaper free baby, while the kids could play in the play center. Would you like a center like this? How often would you want to go? What would you be willing to pay? What classes and activities would you want to see? The reason I mentioned cloth diapers is because you can go to any grocery store and get disposable, but I was not able AT ALL to go to a store for cloth, I had to order online and HOPE I liked what I got. That reminds me, another potential class would be on cloth diapering... I would try to have something for every interest, and yes things for infants and toddlers (parent and me yoga can start right after birth, for example) and it would be geared to all parents having some classes early in the day, some later in the evening and of course some weekend activities. When starting at least I would probably have questionnaires to fill out including desired classes and best times to attend them. The items in the store would all be new, but I would hold perhaps a bi-annual item swap, kind of like a garage sale for parents where you trade instead of sell, proceeds and any extra stuff would be donated to whatever cause seems best at the time (the crises pregnancy center, womans shelter, etc).
Any advice on what I can do to be a work at home mom? I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant and pretty soon it will be time for me to stop working. I am still in school and will be taking a lot of time off. And during my free time I want to do something to make money. I was considering making cloth diapers and pads, but I suck at sewing. And I really am clueless on what I can do to survive the couple of weeks I am out of work.
trying to find a pattern.? I'm looking for a pattern to make adult cloth diapers. Any sugestions? If you make them feel free to email me.

Baby-care without chemicals? Even the most popular baby care products contain cancer-causing ingredients. http://www.ewg.org/reports/skindeep2/search.php?main_cat=BABY+PRODUCTS I'm trying as much as possible to only use natural products on my baby. So far, I have replaced baby oil with olive oil.. For diaper change i add a couple of drops of tea tree oil to the olive oil on a cloth. It works great for diaper rash and regular changes. I only use cloth diapers. I'm starting to make my own babyfood. It's better since homemade doesn't contain preservatives. Does anyone have any other tips for chemical-free baby-care?

Has any one ever had any deffective little g pants, or gDiapers? I recently started using cloth diapers, because they are cheaper http://www.gdiapers.com/ I found these gDiapers, and they have been AWSOME you use them just like a disposable, ( they sell disposable inserts that you can dump, or flush) But i use a cloth prefold insert to save more money they don't leak and they are really cute, Just that initially you have to spend a bit more on the little g pants Unfortunately today, one of the velcro tabs broke Is this a common occurance for the g pants , and does the company reimburse or replace them? Please feel free to comment Thanks
What is a good detergent for cloth diaperering? I am using Bum genius 3.0's and am wondering what is a good one to extend the life of my diapers? i want them to be as soft and absorbant as possible.we currently use all free and clear and heard that all f+c Military is the best but do not know where to find that off of a military base. I may try Planet as well. I will be moving soon to a area with well water and know that some det. do not work well in hard water. any experience with planet or All det anyone? any suggestions would be great. i am new to this and would love to hear about some great det. options. Thanks guys!!
How can a mother choose to place her baby due to poverty? Is it an unwillingness to seek help or pride? As an adoptee - I know how profoundly the loss of mother affects one, throughout many stages of life. I wouldn't wish this on ANYONE. As a child I was so lonely for her, but I kept my hurt hidden and many people probably would have used me as an example of a kid who was happy being adopted. As a mother I can't imagine how I would go through life without my baby. I am the only one who can really intuit exactly what he needs. My body provides him with just the right nutrients for his growing body. I am the one who can calm him just by holding him in my arms. I've learned how inexpensive babies really can be - I reasearched the benefits of breastfeeding, co-sleeping and cloth diapering and found them to be the best parenting choices I could make. It also happens they are very inexpensive. Perhaps the best things in life really are free. Do mothers underestimate how utterly important they are to their babies? Why don't they understand that STUFF is no substitute for themselves? Thank you for the thoughtful answers, but sadly I see some didn't understand or READ my question. I was only questioning why poverty was a reason to surrender. Some went off on tangents about drug use and abuse...while others felt entittiled to postulate my life was rotten, and that I'm bitter and ungratful... HUH? Anyway, Cheryl I am so sorry for your loss, things sure were different 30 years ago and certainly I wasn't placing any blame or judgements....My question was meant to address the present day, there are so many resourses for moms in need. Why would poverty be a reason to place? There are support systems in place. While there are MANY sources of help, I am only going to list one, because this link lists many resources further down it's page. http://www.motherhelp.info
did I miss anything that we need? Okay, I think I've developed a pretty good list of things we need. I did it mainly so I have something to go off of when registering...I wasn't too specific on things like clothes because we'll get a bunch anyway and already have some. I have ?'s next to things I'm not sure if we really need or not...so please glance over this if you'd like and let me know if I missed anything or if I question marked something that you found was a necessity or if I need to question mark something. thanks! baby shower question.... should i have one? i live in a military community. far from my hometown and family. i am due on halloween and have not had a baby shower. i'm not saying i should have one and i didn't expect one at all but EVERYONE keeps asking me if i'm going to have one. but i have no one to plan it. well i have 2 close friends one of which asked me if i was going to have one and i said no b/c i didn't feel right having one not knowing anyone out here where i live. i mean who would really come? right? well over the months i have met a few people and each have asked me why i'm not having a baby shower "free stuff". but since my husband and i weren't planning on a baby shower at all we have bought everything ourselves. we are set on clothes until he's 1 1/2 and we have possibly everythign you can think of BUT blankets, diapers, wipes, and baby hygiene stuff. well right now our budget is tight and i was considering the option of having one but i know you aren't supposed to ask for it but is there a way i could? it's just so odd b/c so many ppl keep asking me like they would come but i just dont' have a party planner. i have no clue what to do b/c they make it sound like i'm supposed to throw myself one which i really dont' want to do. one friend suggested i just do a diaper and wipe party b/c she had seen someone who did it. but really i dont' want to ask. any suggestions? or should i just suck it up lol. i mean we were already going to do more baby shopping this weekend for diapers, wipes, and blankets. oh and burp cloths and nursing wear. oh and we aren't rich at all! lol everythign i bought was used except for our travel system. i just did a lot of yard sales throughout the pregnancy.
Cloth diapers?? Where is the best place to buy cloth diapers in the lower mainland? Does anyone know of an actual store front where you can go and actually see the different diapers instead of just checking things out online? What is the best cloth diaper you have used? Feel free to leave any other cloth diaper info that I may find helpful
How can I go green with raising my infant? Glass bottles instead of plastic, organic and petro free baby lotion, soap, etc organic clothing and bedding, wood floors in nursery, cloth diapers.......WHAT ELSE? Thank you for your ideas!
What classes and activities would you want to see?
trying to find a pattern.? I'm looking for a pattern to make adult cloth diapers. Any sugestions? If you make them feel free to email me.
cloth diapers? Some questions: About how many cloth diapers should you begin with for a newborn (assuming washing every other day). What detergent do you use? Some sites say only the scent/color free, but others say the scent/color free has oils that break down the diaper... what do you suggest we use for a washing machine that needs HE detergent? We want to use the all-in-one diapers... anyone have a particular all-in-one brand that they liked? Thanks! :-)
