Petunia Pickle Bottom Bag??? Does anyone have a petunia pickle bottom bag? If so which one. I am trying to decide which to get for my b-day in a few weeks. I am particularly fond of the Cake collection, and the Cosmopolitan style bag (looks like an old Dr. bag). I have a almost 12 month old, so she dosnt require much to go out. Just some diapers wipe and a sippy cup and snack. However we are TTC so if that works we will again need all of the newborn escentials (I will breastfeed so no formula or bottles most likely). I love the Cake bags in cream tweed with black cut velvet, or the tan and blue with cream tweed. I also like the sameo clutch/cross town clutch (same size and style). But I am not sure if that would be ok if/when #2 rolls around. I like to use my diaper bag as a purse so I would also need to fit in my wallet keys and a few small escentials of my own. Which style do you feel functions best overall. Maybe rate the one you have on: functionality style ease of cleaning wearability overall Say.. 1-10 My question wouldnt get any answers in a fashion section, like seriously. And I have just as much right to ask my question as anyone else does theres. If you dont like the Q dont click on it and then waste both our times by answering

I know some women can do it, but for me expensive bags are my 1 vice. Its the 1 treat I still allow myself every few months. I know it seems unnecessary and a bit stuck up, and it kinda is. But I dont go buy tons of shoes or new clothes all the time. My hubby golfs weekly, so I save up over a few months and then buy a hot new bag. And this one isnt just for me, its for my babies too (sort of LOL)
If you own a petunia pickle bag, which one? I love the Cake style but not sure which will fit needs best? My birthday is soon, and I think I will be asking my hubby for a petunia pickle bottom bag. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Cosmopolitian style (the one that looks like an old time Dr.s bag) in cream tweed with black velvet. I think the society satchel is OK, but I am not sure how practical the deisgn of it is. I do also really love the Cameo clutch one, in the same black and cream coloring. But I am not sure, again, how practical this styling is. If you have one of the 3, which is it; and how well does it function for you. I have a soon to be 12 month old, and we are TTC again. I dont like to carry a purse and a diaper bag so it needs to not only hold the baby stuff; but also my wallet and a tube of lipstick ect. For my daughter we are basically done with bottles and never need extra outfits, all we ever have with us is a small bowl with food; diapers and wipe; a changing pad; and a sippy of water. But if we have another baby we will need all the typical stuff for a newborn. Which do you think?
Has anyone ever used a diaper bag as a purse? I really like the Petunia Pickle Bottom bags, but the thing is I don't have kids or babies. I was just wondering if anyone else has maybe like a diaper bag and used it for a purse? Thanks.
What is your diaper bags purpose at this point? Do you even use it anymore? I find that I am using my daughters diaper bag less and less the older she is. For us to go out all we need is her dieppes and wipees bag with 2 diapers and wipes case. Some sort of snack, usually gerber graduate puffs; and a sippy cup. If we are heading out during/around bed time we bring jammies and a bottle, but otherwise thats it. I was planning on getting a Petunia Pickle Bottom bag for my birthday next week (I love the CAKE bags). But now I think I am going to hold off (since we are TTC again. Kamryn isnt even 12 months yet, but I feel like she dosnt need almost anything to go out. And all I can remember is up until my cousins were like 3 she carried this ugly diaper backpack FULL to the brim with crap. I wonder what she had int there? LOL. Also when you used it, did/does your diaper bag strictly function as something to carry around the baby/kids stuff in, or did you get a super cute one and use it for your bag too? Rather then carrying 2 bags, since she needs so little stuff; I have resorted to using large Coach bags for both of us. I just got the new signature stripe tote a month or two ago and I am able to fit all of my stuff in it, and when she needs stuff to go out that all fits too. Its nice just being able to add her stuff to my bag that I LOVE rather then switching back and forth ot have 2 seperate bags. OOps I got ahead of myself up there. My Aunt was the one that carried around the ugly crap filled bag until her youngest was 3 LOL. Angelbaby-man you really are prepared for ANYTHING lol. I cant be bothered with THAT much stuff. If she gets too dirty she gets naked LOL (unless its winter or cold of course). Kam is 11 months and she has been eating table food for a long time now so I dont really worry about bringing food with me, just a snack.

Do you use a diaper bag enough to justify...? ... the $300+ price tag of a petunia pickle bottom? I remember liking the free black diaper bag the hospital gave me just fine, lol. Plus, after a certain point around 4 months, if I couldn't stuff it into my purse I deemed it wasn't necessary to carry along. Does anyone really love carrying a purse, shopping bags or souvenirs, and a huge diaper bag too?

It is a great design and all, and has some great color options; but is a odd shape and has some weird handle on top. The cosmopolitan one has a long shoulder strap as well as the two dropp handles, and I know I could use it as a purse if I wanted instead; especially in the black/cream
